This is fairly typical shoujo, but it's done well, is cute and has nice art. I quite liked the basic premise (the idea that Momoko might turn into a cat if she doesn't wear her glasses and the things she goes through to keep her magic hidden) and the characters, particularly the male lead, Honjou Shouhei. He's hilarious! On the outside he appears to be a shoujo manga staple - the rude jerk of a male lead - but his nasty remarks to Momoko are actually more like verbal gaffs. He says the complete opposite of what he means because of a childhood incident where he humiliated himself when he freaked out over something Momoko did. Basically, the poor guy's just trying to hide the fact that he's a total chicken. Ha! Some parts of the story were a little confusing, like the big reveal by her parents at the end, or the scene in the school infirmary (maybe a missing speech bubble?), but overall it's just cute and fluffy; doesn't require any thinking. Quite enjoyable if this is what you're after.

Cute art, funny scenes, sweet romance... and a great ending that ties all the ends up. It's pretty much your basic good shoujo. Not amazing or ground-breaking, but good for what it is - a fluffy shoujo volume.
