The main character, Yomogino An, is a fourth-grade elementary school student whose greatest pleasure is eating. While her parents, who both work, are away from home, she tries out various dishes to make and eat delicious food that only she can make. Using her childish ideas, she continues to create her own exquisite B-class gourmet food one after another.
