I actually have the opposite opinion of the commenter below. I thought this series started off really poorly. It was hard to follow and haphazard; the plot was choppy and not explained well (it wasn’t til about 10-15 chapters later when the Cthulhu was mentioned that it all started making sense); and the characters were all over the place. I didn’t understand who was who because people were introduced so suddenly and without any explanation.

It had a lot of potential - who doesn’t like a bunch of kids being stranded on a mystery island?! - but it was wasted. I understand the need for suspense and mystery, but this isn’t how you do it.

It was also very unrealistic. I know this is supernatural, but come on. Some of the characters’ actions and plot were just so stupid and unreal.

Lastly, the art… Sigh. The art is good, which is why I started reading it in the first place. But the character expressions were so over the top and way too exaggerated. And sometimes the expressions didn’t fit the scene or what they should be feeling. It just felt so bad and forced. I get that they’re kids, but I didn’t like how some of their emotions were expressed.

Dropped at ch 20. I tried really hard to keep reading but I couldn’t stand another chapter of it. Felt my time could be better off used reading something else that’s more worthwhile.

A bit hard to judge

Now this is a tough one to comment on cuz honestly it started out really amazing with the interesting story revolving around cthullu(honestly this is the 1 & only cthullu manhwa I've seen) gorgeous monster designs, intriguing characters & plenty of twists & turns to keep you at the edge of your seat so my expectations was sky high thus I decided to let it marinate for a while & then outa nowhere I see the completed tag & then I sought the finale to only be disappointed towards the end.Cuz the last 10 chapters felt like they were from a whole different manhwa with the whole introduction with a small team of elite troop with the numbers diminishing towards the end.

I was genuinely disappointed with the ending but overall I'll still recommend it & give a rating of 7.5
