[From ShoujoMagic]:
A haunting story about a man and his chicken. You will never look at an egg the same way again after reading this story!
This story involves bestiality--tastefully rendered.
Oneshot (Complete)

This manga has "Comedy" listed as one of its genres - and it SHOULD. Right from the deadpan delivery of the lead character, to his best friend's reactions, to the expressions... this is black comedy done right.
Some people might be too used to Mihara's serious and dramatic works and might miss the point that this is comedy. Gothic, twisted and weird, like all of her works, YES. But at its heart, a true comedy.
Read it with that in mind and you'll probably get a kick out of it.
Gaah. I was expecting this to be something horrifying, like the bestiality found in the frog prince.. but actually THIS WAS SOOOOO CUTE. Well, put aside the species difference, it was really lovable. Not that I like reading bestality stuff but I found this work amazing. Comedic, sweet, tragic at the end. (lol) When the egg was squashed by the book I was like WTH?!!? Still, a must read in the 'unusual stories' department 😉
What just happened? Uh, well, that was 9 pages of fun... I just read this out of curiosity like alot of people and to see how beastiality could be "tastefully rendered" .. Anyways, it touches on the topic of beastiliaty but is very brief, no graphicness (thank goodness..). Plot-wise.. I'm glad the author did it in the few pages she did, short and concise, getting straight to the point. The ending was..interesting too..
Nothing explicit, the mature genre here applies to the implied theme of bestiality, and implied animal death.
Otherwise, comedy for the poor guy who is wondering what happened to his friend's brain....
The only reason I read this is because of the description, how can bestiality be 'tastefully rendered'...?
And, well, my curiosity got the best of me.
This manga was both funny and weird at the same time and the part where the egg was hatching was just... odd. Even if you're against bestiality (like me) I'm sure you'll get a laugh out of this.
It's bizarre, interesting and really brought out a lot of questions. Hilarious as well, the way the story is treated so seriously in its execution. Did a great job in entertaining me while it lasted. Was pretty bored with manga but it managed to perk me up with its offbeat-ness.
(I re-edited this comment because I am so confused what made me lol so hard during my first reading of this oneshot.)
I read this because the guy was good looking and it was entertaining but I don't see the humor in this. Anyhow, this made more sense and was more enjoyable than the mangaka's other stories. The ending was quite surprising. I could not foresee that such a thing would happen. Usually, the female is the one who's afraid of being a parent in my opinion. I really wonder what's going to happen to their relationship. Will he give up his hobby now? Is he going to try again? I thought that the way that a story like this would definitely end with the woman dying, I was wrong. This is the best out of all the beastiality I've read(not that I like it or read it a lot), at least there's love(or is there), right?
I hate egg after read this, really... Until now, I never eat, touch or buy egg... yeah, also chicken
This really fun, and have some meaning by some way, but ... I don't know how to say, and can't imagine why that man can do "this" with a chick (I wonder... how... her hole... ew)
-v- I shouldn't read it afrer read the plot... oh my stupid
I love the dead serious nature of Mika. I love the outfits of his best friend, Daren.
I love their interaction together. It's funny ("You've gone far enough with that bestiality hobby of yours!").
But the ending was as abrupt for the reader as it is for the egg...
Unique, just not my personal taste of story line. (Review based on Kotonoha's scanlation.)
Though I'm a huge fan of this mangaka's work, I really didn't like this one. By the end of the story, you get this awful feel of disgust. Skip this one, and read her other works instead.
3/10
Edit.
Despite my initial reaction, there's not many oneshots out there that leave a huge impact on my memory. I take back my part of my last comment - it was disturbing, twisted, creepy, yes - but it was a interesting. In a weirdly good way.
