...so, if you're good look (males-only so far) and/or "heroic" like Mr. Rune Wings Chief Examiner, or at least trustworthy like "Fatty", despite not being conventionally attractive then you're a "good" guy? 🙄😒
I was hoping the Vice Examiner will avert this trope. I thought maybe he'd be one of those who is prideful and stupid but deep down actually has his own set of iron morals despite being so socially stunted. This story has barely started and I don't give up until around ch. 100. I'm already incredibly disappointed with "Demonic Magic Emperor"/"the Villain of Destiny" manhua which I had to stop at ch.50-ish because none of the women are interesting. Not one. There's like one dude who's "ugly" who's so far decent.
A few other manhuas that had 4 star and above ratings were also full of stupid-acting women dressed in literally 3 scarves and bikini top half the time. What the hell is all that about? (In Xianxia/Wuxia, too! Wtf, artists?) I mean, sure, fan service outfits ARE the norm, I guess. I just wished the women were clever enough to actually be worth staring at but no. They're mind numbingly boring. The only pleasure and hilarity I got while forcing myself through the chapters hoping for some kind of improvement was imagining all the men in the exact same stripper-ific "clothes".
Anyway, I'm hoping this won't be as eye rolling tedious as the last 4 manhuas.
