Run-of-the-mill story with an annoying protagonist

I fail to see anything special about this manga lmao, from the plot to the art and even to the characters. This sort of prostitute-themed story has been done many times before, and the mangaka certainly did nothing to elevate or add depth to it in any way with her execution. I'm especially annoyed by the seme guy; I actually thought he was rather charming in the first few pages but boy was I wrong LOL because for the rest of the series he turned out to be this childish forceful selfish useless violent stupid prick who only knows to resort to violence and whining to get what he wants and was being of no use whatsoever and acted like an absolute nuisance to everyone around him. God knows why anyone would fall in love with such a person, but then again this is BL and as long as you have your "puppy" type seme his behaviour will immediately be excused in the name of love and romanticised no matter what he does and what his personality actually is 🙄

It's about mizu shōbai, in other words night-time entertainment business workers. Kaito works as a tout and waiter in a host bar in Kabukicho and Minato... well I won't leave spoilers. Characters are easy-going and likeable, and they grow with time. The plot is simple and slightly cliche but the story isn't boring or annoying since pacing and story development is very good. There's also enough depth. The art certainly is a big asset. And sex is hot. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the ending, as for me it was too open. I'm a little surprised with low rating. There is dubious consent but it wasn't disgusting and it doesn't make this story bad.

In general it's a good story, especially for a quick read.
