The Kido Syndicate is thrown into disarray following a power struggle and Tatsumi takes Yozora away from the life of crime they knew to live a normal life in a tiny apartment together.
"Be a brother to her. A father. Take my place."
This was the boss's final request for Tatsumi, who is determined to be her family, at least until she can find someone else to love her.
Yozora, however, has no desire to be mere "family" -- her heart burns with a longing for Tatsumi. Remembering his boss's words, Tatsumi avoids taking their relationship further.
"You're the only one I can trust. Be the family she needs."
But the past continues to haunt Tatsumi in his dreams. The only one who can help him is Yozora, causing their relationship to evolve into a physical one of man and woman...
