68 Chapters (Discontinued)

I really liked this story! It felt realistic, with the storyline being slow because of understandable hesitation from the characters' point of view. The art is pretty. Sometimes it's hard to tell who's who, but if you can get over that, the story is worth it. The characters also have a really interesting, cute dynamic!
People "Best gl, a masterpiece!"
No. It's not a masterpiece just because the
author died.
Before her death, it was a banal story. 68 chapters, not worth
This was a great manhwa and I could see the emotions building up between the two main characters. I'm heartbroken that Ssamba was unable to finish this story before she passed, but I'm grateful for all that she was able to pour into creating this story and for gracing us with her art.
...why the both user comments prior have to take it the way they did.
Well, whatever...I'll now wrap everything else in spoiler tags, because I'll write some story elements to explain the story a little bit.
I can see where both of the previous comments come from but the story is pretty substantial and develops the characters very well.
Each of the both MCs get a decent background and what they go through up until the current chapter.
Up until this point it is unrequited love, because only 1 MC has realized her feelings towards the other and has of course the conflicts that come with it when you fall in love with the same sex for the first time. Nothing feels out of place for me.
The other MC is stuck in realization phase and gets kind of cock blocked, because of her Ex that scarred her interest in romance, came back into her life recently.there's also a bunch of slice of life that really helps develope compassion from the readers point of view.
There you have it...I'm not going into more detail here but it is a really good and actually pretty decent introductory comic to the Yuri genre. It has a very adult approach to the story and does not fuck around with the usual romance settings.
I mean, if all you're interested is only whether or not the girls will get together, that's your thing. For sure, if you want full out yuri/shoujo ai, you go for that. But I like the slow pace it's taking--it's developing the two and their relationship from friends to something more. And the thing is, they're both people with their own lives, their own pasts, etc. Like, I honestly can't deny the charm? The author could have easily used very stock charatcers when it comes to this opposite thing, but they're great. The cool Beauty who's got a bit of a rough tongue and can be bratty, and the sort of Normal who's too trusting but never lets anyone get close.
I dunno, I really like learning more about what they've gone through. I think it'll make the wait to when they finally get together worth it.
If you want to read a Yuri romance, I would probably look somewhere else. This comic is all over the place. It's the kind of story that will go into a 10 chapter tangent about a relationship with an old boyfriend just when it seems like one girl may finally confess to the other. And the whole thing is like that. A bunch of sidetracking crap that I personally don't care about.
