Another very disappointing childhood friends becoming lovers story.

It started off really well and kept my interest in the characters during the first season, but it got really stupid in the second season, and whimpered out at the end, very abruptly ending with chapter 89 as if it had been axed. It was pretty disappointing on the romance scale, going off on uneccessary tangents after the leads became a couple which led to a a bare minimum amount of lovey-dovey time between them. It never generated a fluffy romantic aura, the love between the leads feeling more theoretical than actual. There was a lot of potential that could have been explored, and a couple interesting characters that had been introduced towards the end that could have been fun to learn more about, but it's as if the author (or artist) suddenly just gave up.

So I typically loveeee dense female leads. But this one is getting to the point that...I’m mad she isn’t taking him seriously. And sometimes she hurts him
But she’s still pretty good I guess
Also T/N are soo funny

I liked it quite a bit! I wished that the 2nd ML would’ve gotten some backstory and personality tho but I guess he was just used so the FL would realize her feelings quicker. Like legit, the only things that we know about him are that he’s 27 ( so a 6 year age gap)and he has a job. Anyways with that said, I enjoyed this! Childhood friend to lovers are so cute, especially when they bicker so much lol. I really liked the premise but I just think it could’ve been executed much better.

A better manwha with a somewhat similar plot is “ something about us “

I think childhood friend romances can struggle to really justify why the two didn't get together before the series' events, and this one is a pretty egregious example. Other than that the main couple is cute, but the FL suffers from "character that's in a relationship gets possessive of a character they're not in a relationship with" syndrome which is always pretty annoying. Not much complicated drama or really big and pivotal moments that stick with you when it's over. Wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it to someone but it was a fun enough read, flaws considered.
