only point this is worthwhile to read is the art other than that i don't think there is anything else. There is loosely a plot that guarantees you can at least see the same person at the next page (sometimes that is). A lot of characters like role playing in this so sometimes you go to next page you see something totally unconnected from the page before (or from a chapter before) i don't even need to say what is there as a plot is also stupid. There isn't much yuri around so its not weird it has somewhat of a high score still if you are not in a right state of mind you won't enjoy this ; if you are looking for something absurd, something you can't even think of even if you live a hundred years or something confusing where what you expect doesn't even occur to the mangaka then you may enjoy this otherwise its mostly a waste of time..

I love yuri, but...

...this was just one hell of a storytelling mess. It was so bad, it actually made me write this.

Despite the borderline hentai scenes, it had a very juvenile story (seriously... what the hell was that!? And a character waltzing around in the nude 90% of the time? Yes, veeeeeery mature indeed. Wasn't even arousing.). The story only got protracted to a full volume thanks to the ecchi, but this easily could've been a oneshot without ruining the simplistic (and pointless... not to mention stupid) story... And you should know well that there are excellent oneshots out there, thus further putting this in a bad light.

If anything, Otome Senshi Lovely 5! marks a first in my manga list by being the very first to earn a rating of 1/10 - a much-deserved rating at that - and the first to make me actually write my first comment ever. Sure, one could argue that the art is decent (and it is, save for the exaggerated cup sizes), but if I simply wanted pretty pictures I wouldn't waste my time reading a full volume.

Well, i was a strong proponent of the, "I hate Yuri" Movement... Until I read this that is, It's weird, this Series has a very Biased Score to it, it let me discover a new appreciation for a different type of Genre.
I'll Explain:
I got this on a whim, It had something Ecchi, so it's not all Shoujo fluff... Well, i was definitely right! The girls in this behave a lot more assertive, and feels like I'm reading a manga, not some Shoujo/Josei Smut.

Although this series isn't perfect, it answered my question, "Is their a Yuri series that isn't full of girls groping and molesting each other?" The answer: "NO!" And, at first i thought it would make me upset, but it's actually got me with the pretty good art. This series may lack plot, but it's got good character designs (As far as I know, I'm new to this stuff). But I thank it, because thanks to this I can even sit through even the Softest Yuri manga. Too bad romances can't be as meaningful in these things, cause I Think Pastel, or Suzuka can take the cake on all these (That includes Sho/Jo) Genres. Oh well, maybe that's asking too much.
10, for invigorating my taste for manga.
