Yamashita Tomoko is one of my all time favs. The story telling, narration, characterization, plot line, paneling, the art work, etc, just has this very fine tuned quality to it. The flow is also absolutely amazing that it just draws you in.

This is the first time i comment something from one of her(YAMASHITA Tomoko) manga. But this is not the first manga that i read from her work. She definitely showing her own style. And i quite like it.
This manga is very good. Especially the main story. I love it! And the second story is good too. But the omake from the 2nd story is quite shocking and almost ruin my feeling. #chuckle
The others is fine too. Very unique! I couldn't help but thinking the others was funny and refreshing! biggrin I love it! Give me a warm feeling. Worth to be read it! ♥

i just forgot about time while reading it ^^". Such a nice "slice of life" stories. Yamashita Tomoko really likes BL couples, where one from the pair is a straight guy ^_^v I also think, she puts her heart in her works, because they are so touching and all the characters care for each other.

main story was a bit confusing, but nice and original. you don't see a lot of stories about a heavily awkward couple.

i LOVED the re: hello oneshot. sooo painfully beautiful and poignant. god why am i addicted to such impossible stories of unrequited love ;_;

Sensei has good plotting on all her stories, but it's so filled with love-drama, yet little romance. At the end, i never know whether i should be upset or not when there is not HEA.....

This mangaka makes some crazy good yaoi stories, I really like them. This collection of oneshots is no exception. I especially liked the fifth chapter, because it was able to convey such a strong emotion on such few pages. Really, and it was interesting to have the niece's perspective.

The seventh chapter made me laugh my guts out. It was so funny, that oneshot . biggrin

A really, really amazing mangaka. I never knew that all the things I desired of BL manga could exist in the creative capabilities of a single person. For me the most outstanding story in this book was the 5th chapter, 'Re: hello,' about the uncle and his niece, which had me bawling like a baby even though it was only a few pages long. On a more general note, Yamashita is good at frame composition so you never get bored. Even the very best of BL often suffers from melodrama, which you won't find anywhere here-- Yamashita is extremely subtle, never forcing you to feel for her characters (which ends up being more effective, because it's more touching when you don't notice a mangaka trying so hard to wring every bit of sympathy out of you). The other stories were also lovely and entirely worth your time. Please read this! You won't regret it.

Well scripted...

Yeah... I am rating it a 9.1... but probably will change once more chapters are released... What I like about Yamashita is that everything is so well scripted... like a movie... I don't feel like I am reading a manga... I always feel like I am watching a show when I read her material. Anyway, I love that her artwork is so unique. I am really hoping that Yamashita falls into the same class as Fujiyama Hyouta, Yoshinaga Fumi, Suzuki Tsuta, Yoneda Kou, and Miyamoto Kano (my all-time favorite mangakas)... I just cannot assert that she does since I have not had the opportunity to read a good amount of her material yet...
