Although there are some moments that (I think) aren't flowing very well, this is a cute and funny yet deep story. I LOVE the supporting characters, probably even more than the two mains. The sister was an amazing person. I also love Katsumi's personality... I hope I have someone like that in my life. Plus, I think he's the seme in the relationship? Lol that was a bit unexpected. And Miyoshi...what a good guy. I really want to read more about him and Designer-san (whose name I forgot but let's be real, I had to look up Miysoshi's name, too, cos I forgot lol). The last smut where Kei-chan asked to be spoiled was hot.

I really enjoyed reading this (it had its funny moments), however, the plot was a little basic. The story literally went from pantyhose kink to love in like 2 chapters.. Also, the side story that was interwoven with the main story kind of lacked impact. Don’t get me wrong, I still enjoyed reading this a lot and I do recommend it for anyone wanting something short/laidback.

I almost dropped this after reading the synopse and the first chapter, thinking it would be the typical kinky yaoi with a weird plot and crazy characters, but I am glad I was proved wrong!
First, the plot is actually good and the pacing wasn't too fast nor too slow, and (surprisingly) the author didn't focus on the panty hose kink as much as I thought she would lol The story is much more focused on the characters's uneasiness about same-sex relationships and I think it was portrayed in a realistic way (although the miscommunication from the characters was a bit frustrating to watch lol).
I also liked how the author made each character have such outstanding personalities (Katsumi is totally my favorite from this manga!) and the side couples are excellent too! They all have their own struggles when it comes to romance and it was very satisfying to see how they dealt with their own problems.

I seriously thought the teacher would start abusing Katsumi or be mean to him, as I thought the author wanted to go for Katsumi/Miyoshi route, I am so damn glad that didn't happen lol (this is what happens when you read too much yaoi with twisted characters, you start expecting the worst scenarios lmao)

Anyway, I am glad none of the characters turned out to be twisted or total jerks.
Lastly, the art is just superb, so that's a great bonus as well.

The Characters' feelings and all is explored really Amazingly Well! The Kink, while it was pretty Sensual and 'Hot' and also Funny, it wasn't Porn-ish. When it was closer to Sex, there's always some kind of emotions and problem to talk. So they never go that far when they were not together yet.
I did of course expecting all the Conflict and about Unexpected Feelings, but i Definitely didn't expect more Drama than that. They clear all the problem at the end and everyone is Happy at the end.
Not only the Main Couple who i really pray for their happiness so much, the second Couple too get a Happy Ending too that they deserve and i almost cry in Happiness!!! I'm SO GLAD they dont get the cliche break up and find new love thing. That would be Stupid! All the Characters get Happily Ever After!
And if worried about their Future, the Extra Chapters is definitely clear all the Doubt! All the Couple is Safe and Stay Together Forever and In Love and All

I first saw Jackass! in a manga shop in my city. And it was the first time I came across Scarlet Beriko works. It also made my first impression of her as an author. Positive, actually.
It was not some deep yaoi masterpiece, but still - it was really good. There were two stories, main and side. I will focus on the main since I was not that interested in the other one. It was nice, but I was far more invested in the main one.
I really liked the characters. They were adorable and funny. I liked them since the first chapter, and I loved them at the last one. It was smut centered manga (typical of Scarlet Beriko), but still, characters had great chemistry, at least for me. The kink was expected, but it was really good portrayed actually. In a sexy kind of way. In the most of cases when I'm reading about kinks in mangas I'm like "okay... that's... not for me... that's... kind of disgusting." But not here. I don't know why, maybe because of the art style, maybe because of characters, maybe because of mentioned chemistry, but it just worked fine and that's all.
Definitely recommended for people looking for a good smut.

The plot summary / description doesn't do this manga any justice... I mean, it accurately describes the beginning so to speak, but there's soooo much more to it... God, I almost skipped this gem by thinking it was your run-of-the-mill smutty dumb yaoi with shallow characters, but boy was I wrong.
For starters, the whole 6 chapters + extra were hilarious, I let out some good chuckles. The characters are well-built even though it's short, and most of them (both the main and secondary ones) are amazing, they kept on surprising me.
The plot is WHOLESOME. I found myself tearing up at some point and thinking about my own life.
There's obviously the sexual component, BUT it's done in a mostly tasteful way, and doesn't get graphic until the very end.
I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a light-hearted but wholesome and hilarious read. It's not dark but not fluffy either, it's right on point. I loved it all the way and would reset my brain just to be able to enjoy it like the first time. Kudos to this awesome mangaka and its wonderful gem.

Yes, I am referring to the other yaoi titles. After having the same story with the exact types of characters over and over again, the characters, the natural dialogues and development of the story was a breathe of fresh air.
This is truly one of the best. It really feels natural and... somewhat realistic? It has realistic elements while still managing to develop a sweet story where all is well.

You NEED to read this. It is truly one of the best! True, this is not some groundbreaking story, but it is written well enough to actually be very enjoyable and satisfying.

(P.S: and can we all just admire his sister?? How rare is it to find a cool female character in a BL?)

This is a first lol. Not that the sexy scenes were bad, mind you, they were fine, but they weren't very...memorable? lol, honestly I think it's just that the rest of the manga really outshone itself for me that I didn't care when they were banging, I just wanted more banter between the characters.

The characters really shine in this manga, though. It's really nice that we technically get the love stories of three different couples seamlessly in this one manga. Keisuke and Masayuki make for a really great idiot couple with really good banter, and it's greatly helped by characters like Katsumi (the BEST character and fav, tbh) and Kei's older sister (one of the best female characters I've seen in bl in awhile). Even the little bitch Miyoshi becomes super endearing and you feel for the taciturn doctor as well.

If I could give this manga an award for best ensemble cast I would! I will never forget Katsumi looking absolutely stunning while crossdressing as Alice (and being "Sadistic Alice" LMAO) and then

turning out to be the seme LMFAO xD

The whole cast is a riot; some characters really stand out and it was a lot of fun getting to know them.
I think my appreciation for this manga improved with a re-read though; on the first read I was too focused on the plot to notice anything else worth noting. Oh and the art is simply gorgeous. Katsumi easily has one of the best character designs I've seen in awhile.

Omg I can't believe how hot it was in the beginning chapters even w/o any sex scenes. I totally fell in love with this story, it is sooo cute and I just love all the characters. I wished it was longer T-T I wanna see their everyday life after they get to college. Never did have a leg or pantyhose fetish but seriously this novel almost gave me one!
