Description
Kiri and her husband, both in their 30s, have been happily married for several years. It was kind of boring for me (nothing really happens), but I can see the crowd this would resonate with. I thought the indecision in the beginning wasn't really needed and neither was the mini-arc with her husband (his attitude was totally in line with the "okay sure why not?" way she decided to have a baby in the first place). It all messed up the pacing for me and I wish we could have spent more time with her on her journey - including interacting with her family beyond her mom's surgery and learning about her work or childhood or more of her stressors.
It's a cute story though and wholesome. It might be more of interest to women who are going through their first pregnancy or are expecting/planning on being pregnant sometime in the future.
