Description

The sequel to You Will Fall in Love, focusing on Tsukasa's older brother Reiichirou.

Reiichirou is back and hoping for a happier ending this time when he takes over as manager for a kimono shop. But a fellow employee, Jinnai, doesn't like the idea of being bossed around by a younger and less experienced man. As the sparks fly between the two men, will love also bloom?

Seems Half Done

I like this title the best out of the series, but it doesn't seem complete. I wanted there to be some reconciliation or confrontation with the brothers about what really went on in the first title, and I wanted to see a more fully developed relationship between Jinnai and Reiichiro, since there seems to still be a lot of mis-communication between them, as well as with the people around them.

But I'm holding out because the series isn't complete and the mangaka will hopefully go back and fill in the holes. Maybe after "Kimi ga Koi ni Midareru" the mangaka will expand on the 3 stories for a much more satisfying end.

Solid manga series!

While I don't think a 10 year age gap is anything special (unless one party is too young), it's an understandable worry of Jinnai that his boss is that much younger!
All in all, I have to say that this is a great manga and definitely worth reading.
Something that really surprised me here was, that after getting to know Reiichirou in the prequel, he turned out to be a totally different personality here than expected!
I loved him in the prequel, and I was a bit confused reading Oboreru at first. However, he grew on me and while I understand he might come across too boring for some readers, that didn't bother me.
He's extremely anti-social. He's not used to dealing with people and coming from a rich and famous home, he always just got everything he needed. I like that he's both a beauty and very innocent and inexperienced. He matches Jinnai very well - who is a character that is just lovable right from the start! He's impulsive and straight forward and loud and easily becomes rude, but then again he's a very sweet and caring guy.
The prequel had a lot more emotion... passion... mostly because Jinnai is the only character showing feelings because Reiichiro is just horrible showing how he feels.

The story is not bad, even when it's not anything completely new or complex.
Kijima adds some nice love rival/triangle effect while staying pretty reasonable. He's a fun character and his role got a lot better knowing that he is serious, and not just playing around.
I'm excited he got his own sequel!

Well I really enjoyed this - even if not as much as the prequel - and I'd definitely recommend it. If you like innocent, clueless ukes and semes who are demanding and kind of lose their cool when around the uke, you might like this one.

I really did like the plot and I also liked the characters involved, even though I wouldn't have thought that Reiichirou would turn out to be such a likeable character (regarding the prequel). And of course TAKANAGA Hinako's art was stunning.

I was already not sure about this manga (because of the two MC personages -seriously in what era's Reiichirou live ?!?! Add to that the detestable personality of Jinnai - and the first sex scene with penetration that's clearly more than just Dubcon) but the last straw was when Jinnai thought : 'The good thing about Reiichirou is that he is obedient'. on the Volume2, chapitre7, page50. Too much thing don't work with that sentence, I just can't pass over that. Your lover's not suppose to 'listen' you, it's touch too close of a abusive relation (with the accumulation of their mutual past) for my liking. I do not completely hate it, the art's too much pretty for that but I did not like the story.

Ahhh, this was lovely~! I'm very happy, it was a thoroughly enjoyable read <3
I have to start by praising the artwork, which is, once again, beautiful. I've often encountered people saying they aren't a fan of her style. but I love how she focuses on the expressions, they are SO realistic!
The plot was cute. Nothing too new, but I do enjoy when lack of communication is the main conflict because it makes it that much more angsty, which is a BL requirement for me. It also seems to be a recurring theme in Takanaga-sensei's work, which I appreciate. If there's one thing I'd like to comment on, I thought this was a bit too long - while "Ochiru" was a bit too short. It's not that it felt like it dragged, because it definitely didn't, but I could've done with less "moe" moments and more straight to the point. But I do get why she did it - to make a good, solid foundation for their love. I appreciate how it took a long time for them to first know each other, then become somewhat friends, then finally start a relationship - and even then there were steps. They had phases, from animosity to attraction to young love to deep love.
The characters are also probably my favorite types out of the whole trilogy - Reiichirou is my favorite out of all three ukes (which is surprising because I read this one after the other two, and I had a bad impression of him from before, but he managed to turn it around ^.^)vand Jinnai is definitely my favorite out of all the semes (Jinnai and Kijima are my favorite characters out of all the 6, but he's just more my type). People generally complain about demanding, assertive semes, but he was even a bit too soft for me, but more pushy than the other two - which is good for me! I also enjoyed seeing them changing over the course of the story, especially Reiichirou - he grew so much since "Ochiru"! I liked that, once they had established a relationship, he would engage in the sex - sometimes ukes just lay there, or say "no" all the time, which I really don't get.
Overall, "Midareru" was my favorite, but I also think this was a great story!
Oh, I do wish Tsukasa's and Reiichirou's relationship had been addressed and fixed, even if it was as a side story, but unfortunately we're to assume they still don't get along 🙁
In any case, I definitely recommend all three, it's rare to find good BL, much less a trilogy of series!

I liked the story , the art of sensei as always wonderful w, but... after read the epilogue of vol 3 and see the manga is complete, i really think sensei left a open ending for this story , I mean i feel like she needed to write a couple or just one more chapter to really give a good close for this story , like someone said before the story it doesn't seem complete. And I already read Kimi ga Koi ni Midareru (Sequel) and about this points sensei it didn't talk about it in that sequel 🙁 serryouslly i keep with the feeling this story need at least one more chapter

i did see reichirou a bit different from the impression he gives on the prequel..
but i still liked him, jinnai was nice and fun , i love this mangakas stories(the ones ive read so far) and its worth the time i guess... i enjoyed it ^^

i should give it an 8 but, i dont feel like doing it hehehe

I totally agree that they vilified Reiichirou wayyyyyy too much in the story of his younger brother. I am still glad he didn't end up together with Haru, but they really did make him seem a lot more competitive and cutthroat compared to this sweet Reiichirou. He is blunt and tactless, but not devious or underhanded as he comes across in kimi ga koi ni ochiru. Also, in this spin off, Reiichirou and Jinnai are both H-O-T !!! As most people, I am sure, I often dislike one or the other lover... but Reiichirou are Jinnai are both so cute in their own ways.. (and hot ::cough)

I took off half a point cuz Jinnai does get a little nutso late in the story...

this manga is one of the first I've read and it still remains one of my top favs (now that I've come across tons)... its first appeal is the characters, Rei especially, he's socially inept (much like Satorou in Awkward Silent, but is less submissive n more vocal), Jinnai would at first seem like an average forceful seme but with a closer look, u can see the small qualities like his sarcasm, irritability n random surge of playfulness that make him seem realistic enough.
I personally love the 'post' phase where the characters are still confused, but work to maintain n develop their relationship, so the bickering back and forth and their possiveness for one another is a win for me
with that said, the main reason I prefer this over the prequel is 'there're more smut' no im jk, (tho i won't deny that it is a factor)... Tanakaga Hinako is one of those mangakas that can deliver the characters' feelings through the manga' frames perfectly, the enamor gazes, the brief touches, the tender kisses and the sweet embraces... it's indescribable, but somehow Kimi ga Koi ni Oboreru just seems to capture those moments for successfully

ps: (spoiler) what I find funny is the fact that even tho Tsukasa's dream is to have sex with Haru in his hakama, his brother was the one who did it first... n right in their house's dojo nonetheless

I like this story more than the one with the younger brother. It's much cuter, also, Reiichirou has better character than his younger brother. He's clueless and sensitive. And his expressionless face is cute ^^. I'm glad they decided to make one about the older brother 🙂
