Description

Itsuki, a young girl, encountered a captivating boy residing in a castle atop a mountain during her childhood. This boy became her refuge after her parents abandoned her with her step-siblings. However, one day, he mysteriously disappeared.

Now, burdened with the responsibilities that her parents should have shouldered, Itsuki yearns for someone to care for her instead. Unexpectedly, the boy from her past reappears and rescues her from a near-fatal incident.

Yet, he behaves strangely, deviating from Itsuki's previous perception of him. She wonders about his intentions and what he desires from her.

first of all if you like to complain about the ML being "trash" or the FL being "abused" even though there are layers and layers of trigger warning everywhere and every chapter, DONT READ IT, STOP BEING A C*NT AND GTFO!!

anyway, objectively, this is a rare gem story where it provoke your emotions while reading it, everyone in it is miserable, the plot is heartbreaking, and i love it, it is absolutely NOT BORING, and i have respect to the mangaka for making this. this might be a hard read but this is the kind that will leave a long lasting impression just like oyasumi punpun or aku no hana, which have been popular for many years, in fact depending on how the story goes this might become one of my favorite manga. plus.... vampires! vampires are just hot, simple as.

however, it seems that no scanlation group is picking up the pace despite the raw being available up to volume 9 already, so please someone, anyone pick this up!

Interesting Story

First of all, as someone who loves psychological story, so that no one have weird expectation, I will say this:

THIS IS PSYCHOLOGICAL STORY. So it's not weird if the character is not really sane because of past experience. If you want fluffy manga or romantic scene, don't read it.
I already read this manga until chapter 10. It seems the manga still explore the ML unstable side. Like, they are together but then the ML start to did this and that. The girl refused and the ML regret it. The girl is also unstable, well, you can sense it since chapter 1 with her fantasy and denial. Her house problem make it worse. So this is a story about 2 mentally unstable characters. The FL siblings also acting up as if something snap between them. It's as if you fill a bottle with water until it's beyond limit and it's starting now. So, this is just the start. The author just start to show us their mental state, not because the storyline is going anywhere.
Are their relationship healthy? No, not yet. Not sure in the future. But, I can tell this story can lead to healthy relationship or not depending on their development so if you want 100% sure the story will be healthy, don't read.

Honestly, if you read psychological story, you must know what you are reading so don't have weird expectation. Even the title is "Kowareta" "Broken" vampire, what do you expect? lol

The episodes are like a repeat of the FL either being molested or giving in to the ML's uninvited touches. The storyline was kinda everywhere. The girl imho, is one unlucky person.

I mean, her love interest is mentally unstable (not holding it totally against him since he has been basically imprisoned alone for years) and he most likely deserves to be labelled a yandere. Then there's her stepsiblings like wtf u guys acting so spoiled for. And the stepbro is just...

Then there's the pathetic attempt at creating a romantic dilemma like, "Does he love me for who I am or because I'm just food for him" kinda thing but the story just developed too fast to see where it's going. I'm even left wondering wtf is going on.

The story's premise seemed interesting at first and that was what drew me in but I'm dropping it at episode 8 because I can see from the preview that the FL is once again, going to be molested.

If you hate dubcon and noncon, then stay the hell away from this story because the supposed romance is nowhere near good enough to help you turn a blind eye towards it.
