This work has a lot of promise: interesting characters, good humour, and clever non-murder mysteries. But only the first two chapters are actually worked without rush. The other two are snap shots of what easily could have been a short series (three to four volumes, probably). Lots of details are dropped without getting resolution, and in one case, the entire mystery is left out. It feels as though Hadoka-sensei was trying to stuff specific parts into a single volume, in other works, it was axed. It's still a fun read, though. (The extra supernatural oneshot, not so much.)

Great story and characters. Unfortunate that it's only 4 chapters and there isn't much of a resolution. We are left wondering about the mysterious Shiki. . . This manga had lots of potential. v__v

I found this manga to be a decent one to read. I felt the length of the story could have been longer.

The drawings are good and the characters are quite likable. Shiki is so cute. ^w^ Like I said, the story is too short.

The story is nice (a bit short, I think only 4 chapter since at the end of that chapter it says : "Crossbone detectives's main story end").
the drawing are really good, I really like that style. The caracterz are good too, they all are likeable, even "the bad guy". Plus, Misaki is suuuper cute.
Too bad it felt like those four chapter were the prelude. Before the real story starts (same as most manga).
