Great manga with lots of emotions

First time I read this manga i was surprised at the beginning. It was awkward but intriguing. After reading on this became a highly addictive manga. The plot had a great outcome of events. The characters are great characters you really can feel attached to. When a character feels heart broken or cry you will truly feel sad ( i admit to tearing up at times yes im a wuss). This is one of the mangas that i actually thought about throughout my day. In my head it was like who will he choose? I kept thinking about it alot because i felt for the the characters. But since the connection with the characters are very strong you may be sad if your favorite is not chosen at the end. But, because its hard to please fans of all the different choices, the author did a great job trying to make everyone happy. I loved all of them and only wished for multiple endings for each different girl but this ending is still great.

The art in this manga is perfect. Girls are attractive even when their is no ecchi. The ecchi in this manga is at an appropriate level. It is used in a romantic and loving way, not the absurd "everytime i move i jiggle" type of ecchi. It is used at the right time just like relationships have.

I simply love this manga to death. The emotions you get are so strong, anger, excitement, love, sadness, pity, joy, etc. It is just an amazing read for every romantic reader. This author is amazing and this manga is one of my all time favorites. It it a great transitional manga if you just started reading romantic ecchi manga after reading all those action ninja, pirate, shinigami, etc manga.

All in all a truly magnificent read and if your reading these comments just read the manga and Im sure you'll love it.

I think thats the best ending that 1 can actually have. its really interesting to see how the relationships developed and that junpei stayed on his love and waited for her. its the ultimate romantic end although its not the character you should like but just how innocent it is is just great... to hell those would are not clever enough to see that

I think this the best Harem I ever read. The plot is really good and I can see how the characters develop through out the story. I agree that there are some unnecessary fan service. But hey, who does it serve? Anyway, overall I think it is great

this is so good an touching that i cry almost all over the last book because it was kind of sad but went i finished it i cry of happyness because it was to great to be trust the wending was just like i wanted it to be.

if i could reborn i wish i could be jumpei manaka or tsukasa nishino

It's true that the story goes long, but school is ending so i think the story is also... With a small one you hardly enjoy the characters or get used to them... Its true that manaka indecision is taking long and i would like to see him realy dating nishino (but i dont even know who is he going to choose). The plot is funny, so chapters are just great but others just suck as fillers... The music and sound are just nice or just above average. The graphics are very enjoyable and i couldn ask for better, just maybe all in color or something like that 😀
The main characters and the main plot, i just fall in love for it, just sugoi! sugoi! Very rich and very enjoyable, but cant say much as i would like without spoiling... You Gotta read it!

In all honesty, I could say that this is one of the best manga of the genre (ecchi romantic comedy) that I've ever read. There is a refreshing pace to the story, tracking the developments of each of the characters as they live on their high school lives and a surprising amount of depth to the characters in the story. Although there are points at which the indecisive incompetence of the main character blessed with the good fortune of four amazing lead female characters becomes irritating, there is a level of dynamic change to the male protagonist as well (e.g. developing his desire for a future, changes in his perception toward relations of the opposite sex, overall growth and maturity regarding life). The female characters are also pretty fleshed out (there is a level of superficiality to their development, but it's to a degree where it's acceptable given I believe that not all humans have a certain level of depth anyway).

Overall, it's a compelling bildungsroman of an average high school student (barring the gratuitously ecchi-filled moments of comical relief) as he navigates through life with his relationships with the four heroines serving as symbolic reflections of the circumstances in life. Personally, I may be a little biased toward this work, as it was one of my firsts of this genre, but even after 4 different readings in different periods of my life, I can claim that it still preserves its initial luster and heart-pounding representation of youth that hooked me onto it in the first place.

Didn't really expect the ending

I have to admit, that i didn't see the ending will be like that
but this manga give me a thing that i shouldn't decide things only from the beginning

i personally like Aya with Manaka, since i think they have the same "aura"
and i really like the way they "wishy washy thing", their undecided habit, and a lot of thing about Aya and Manaka

because i've read some spoiler, i can't really bring myself to read this manga from vol1 to 19, but i skip trough the end, just because my curiosity, and i don't think i'm gonna finish this manga.
it really hard you know, when you wish about something, but it didn't happen (well, the world just happen to be like that)

but for those who want to read a good comedy/romance manga, i guarantee that you will be satisfied with this manga, JUST DON'T READ THE SPOILER YET, UNLESS YOU WANT BECOME LIKE ME, Unsatisfied, Uncomplete Read

Redeeming Ending

It has the typical Shounen ingredients; an indecisive protagonist, a love polygon, ecchi scenes in almost every chapter, dragging on forever, unnecessary drama, misunderstandings coming on over us out of the blue and so forth. I will not not deny this, and clichéd series like this can make for an enjoyable story, too, especially if the art is beautiful. HOWEVER what totally blew me away was the ending. It was unexpected and sweet! Junpei finally mans up and chooses his girl. I will not say which one. That is for you to find out. But I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by this turn of events. Not many Shounen mangaka are this spunky!
Therefore, mostly because of the exceptional ending, a 9. If it had not been so good, I would have given this a much lower score.

Must read romantic manga.

I just had to register for Ichigo 100%. I read the manga back in 2005-2006 for the 1st few chapters and forgot about it until last week. So I went ahead and download every chapters (we don't have shop selling Ichigo 100% around here).

IMO, the ending is Perfect!! Although it did felt rushed, actually it was quite well done, considering the mid story moves pretty slow. Many questions were answered. It plays with readers emotions, absorbing us as we continue reading. Ichigo 100% is a masterpiece of romantic comedy manga. Read it whether you despise ecchi or not. Even without the tons of eechi scenes (except few that essential), Ichigo 100% could still pull it of and still rated as a masterpiece.

I also felt Ichigo 100% deserved to be a live action, a full high school romantic drama, without the ecchiness/fanservice, unless in certain scene where they are essential. I think it'll succeed and set pretty high benchmark, given only essentials scenes are filmed and follow 100% manga's storyline. Well, if I had the money, I would have gone to Kawashita-sensei with this drama proposal.

Seriously, whoever did rate this manga as at 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, should be kicked in their butt. I could only say this, (could be spoiler alert!!)

Ookusa create 82 accounts to ruin Manaka's life . hahaha... XD

...prefers reading about a very indecisive protagonist who apparently can't decide upon several girls who he likes whose strong points often conflict with his love choices. It rather takes long to get to the point and often have scenes and conversations that have been rehashed from one chapter to the next tenth or so.. But, the ending surely does impress everyone and questions keep on coming!
