As another user said it, this manga is an emotional rollercoaster. In this series you will find the archetypal romantic comedy characters, but what sets this work apart from others is the author's depth and attention to character development. Being a romantic comedy manga, the obligatory 'falling over; oops I'm top of you' was present in abundance, which is something that I just cannot bring myself to appreciate; its too predictable. I am not a huge fan of the artwork stylistcally, but I must also say that the author's attention to detail in both artwork and character development is remarkable, in comparison to other shounen works in the same genre.

I didn't find this series to be very humorous. There were certainly a few LAWL moments, but they were few and far between. For me, the main character's indecisiveness and emotional confusion were frustrating, and rather hard to believe, but I feel like its a character that young adolescents can relate to.

At some points, it felt like the author was dragging things out to buy more time to develop the story further, but it seems like the author had a clear idea of how [he] wanted to end the series, and the author's focus on that goal allowed me to focus more on the present storyline. I also felt that many of the side characters that were introduced midway through the series seemed superfluous and underdeveloped.

The ending was tragically disappointing, and perhaps there aren't such things as happy endings in reality...but isn't this a shounen work? I suppose I would have appreciated the ending a bit more if this were the first romantic comedy I was exposed to.

So, in conclusion, I'd say this series is worth a read, if you don't mind lengthy reads and endings that don't make you feel fuzzy inside.

I think thats the best ending that 1 can actually have. its really interesting to see how the relationships developed and that junpei stayed on his love and waited for her. its the ultimate romantic end although its not the character you should like but just how innocent it is is just great... to hell those would are not clever enough to see that

Ichigo 100% was entertaining and beautifully written. It had plenty of those cute, adorable, and tear-jerking moments throughout the manga.

The artwork is amazing and the characters are interesting. I actually liked the main character. Some people rant about being indecisive, or picking the wrong girl but that's nothing. I thought the indecisivness was well managed by Kawashita. She used it to show how very difficult it is to choose when a person loves more than one person. What were people expecting? For Manaka to brush off all the other girls from the beginning and get in Aya's panties within the first few chapters? That kind of harem manga is crap. Development between the girls was moslty proportionate and it again added to the difficulty of the decision in the end.

The only complaint I have is that one or two of the girls seemed to fade out later into the story. I'd have preferred that they were not introduced as love interests or given a bigger role.

I you're looking for a manga where the male lead only has eyes for the first or main girl, then don't look here. If you're looking for a manga where the lead is a player, or does everything right all the time, don't look here. If you're looking for one where everyone's straightforward without shyness or embarassment, don't look here.

Read if you want a little innocent, heart-warming romance.

I Loved this manga, but didn't like the lead male doubts (at one point it becomes annoying)...And well the ending depends of which girl you like the most...

I like harem and this is the twist harem I have read. Even harem means many girls like one guy which is the main char but in most of harem we can figure out the couple the story will end up with very soon. But in Ichigo 100%, the guy is unexpected stupid and dumb when most girls is so nice =.=, so it's hard to find out the answer till very last chapter.

This fact makes 3 major effects to the reader:
Firstly, it's extremely addicted. You cannot stop rushing to the ending after reading a couple chapters.
Secondly, frustrating because Manaka is a wimp when the girls is so ecchi. I always think that if I'm this guy, it will be hentai ^^
Lastly, we mostly meet an unsatisfying ending, especially if he does not choose the girl which you like! Take a look, you will find a lot of comment and discussion about the ending and a lot of ppl even rated 1 point because of it. ( Really 67 ppl did it, so Ichigo 100% never can get a high average rate as it deserve^^)

Besides, it has an awesome artwork (best ecchi ever in my opinion), fun, school life story is also pretty good. Most characters was built deep and particular even you may dislike them.
So, If you dont care that those upper effects will annoy you. This is really a good one to try.

i really like this manga and i even cried a little, but the start is rather annoing. i locked this manga up after 3 chapters and tried to read some other stuff, the mainchar was terrible annoing and unlogical. good thing i gave it a second chance, and i was even satisfied with the ending, although there are lots of people who do not agree and rather wanted to see another ending.

Well first for those who are all hating on the manga just because the ending and rating it 1 you should try thinking it over and giving it a fair rating since I'm pretty damn sure you were atleast instrested into the manga if u read about 167 chapters of it.Anyways art work is beautiful, overall story was great in my opinion,plrenty of great fan service,but only one thing i wished was that kozue was shown more(my favorite girl ^^)

While reading this manga I really liked the way the characters looked like. Prettiest style I've seen so far. The story was good although the many main characters changes in mind got tireying. But there is one thing RUINING THE WHOLE MANGA - The ending. It felt the WORST to see him deciding for the wrong girl. For me it's even worse than if it had ended with a death and to see them all together again after some years still not taking the right girl finally destroying every little hope left for a Real Happy Ending in the last minute really hurted. I hate the mangaka for this.
