Totally agree with hangluu’s review and that was written almost 5 years ago. I’m dropping this at 20 chapters because the MC is unbearable. She almost comes across as willfully naïve and it’s just irritating. She wants to improve, but really hasn’t. Airheaded, oblivious MCs are really not my thing.

While I like this manga, I HATE the mc w a passion. She LITERALLY cried in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER (okay not all but definitely most). She is the "I'm weak but i want to get stronger" type but she actually improve nothing. She also almost always be in trouble and can't make up her mind for damn shet! UGH she is also one of those "always smile and be kind" type. ASIDE FROM HER, everything else is awesome. I LOVE the male mc and rival and the side characters including mc's twin bro. The plot seems pretty typical for a non-school life/slice of life shoujo but with a bit of a twist. Nothing ground breaking but also have some originalities. Overall a decent manga w good plot and an annoying mc (she is not the worst.. I like her in small doses but when add all of those together, it is very overwhelming).

Oh do tell where that is, because so far there is no hint of the female lead gaining one (plus her precious count would not let that happen either). Anyhow, for the story, it is not bad, but not that great either. The drawings are nice, although I've seen better and the characters aren't that special either. The female lead is your naive, damsel in distress (although I understand why- considering it's set in 19th century). So far, I don't see much of a personality yet- just bland, although tolerable I guess. As for the male lead, he's also typically handsome, a tad mysterious and a tad possessive, with a speculation of a dark past coming in later chapters. I am a sucker for a dense female lead, where the guy gets frustrated to try conveying his feelings for her, so there's that. And oh, yes it's a vampire themed, but no, the guy is not the vampire sorry girls . Overall, not a bad read if you are bored or procrastinating your assignments, who knows you might like it a lot more than I do.
