There is a bunch of your "so loved" generic isekai characters.
Plot is edgy and overall is good, then you get to know characters, personalities and a lot of inconsistencies in-between... It's just feels stupid...

this is just another poorly written edgy story. Guy has a shitty life and murders the guys responsible then commits suicide, he then wakes up in generic fantasy world with generic isekai powers. What makes it different from your standard meh isekai is that its part of the small subcategory of edgy isekai.
If you enjoy stories like Dungeon Seeker or Nidome no Yuusha, then this is for you. While I love my dark storys and gore, this particular edgy brand isn't my cup of tea.

Yup, revenge story driven by edgy MC with edgy powers/outfits: it's like going back to the 90's, I guess.
