I agree with the other negative reviews. The only thing that I liked about this manga was the art.
But I really had a hard time believing Tsukasa's situation.
Ok - I can understand why Yuuki becomes a 'steed' - because he desperately needs money and he feels guilty about what he did to Tatsuya (supposedly) so long ago.
But why was Tsukasa a steed? I mean, he's whoring himself out to the gym's owner (a skeezy old man - ew) that is supposed to further his career as a fighter - and yet the public couldn't know about the kind of fighting he does else he'd never have a fighting career to begin with? Ok, can someone explain this to me? Am I missing something?
It didn't make sense - I mean, was he in debt to Yakuza? Was he somehow in debt to the owner? WTF? And what kind of martial artist lets himself be raped by various men? I mean, seriously! Tsukasa's story just didn't make sense. If he really wanted money, fame, love that comes with being a world class fighter, why in the WORLD would he subject himself to all of this? I know he's in love with Tatsuya, but come ON.
And Tatsuya isn't that great a guy to being with, which made me wonder why Yuuki would go to such lengths for him - and continue being his 'steed' even when he didn't have to. He's a jerk, actually! What kind of lover would let his man be gang raped? and then the uke thanks him for rescuing him (even though he put them there to begin with??)
I don't know...like I said, the art work is superb, the storyline...lacking.
