Immortal Regis is a good Manwha. The main characters are likable and well-defined, the art is fairly good and it has some good action scenes.
Unfortunately, there are some significant plot development issues. The story starts out well enough as a fully engrossing read. There are fun characters whom you are attached to and everything makes sense. Then Jae Hyuk is sent to that tower and everything seems to become a confused mess from there. You lose track of the characters and the plot as a whole, and it really becomes a lot less fun than it once was when things were simpler and lighter. It reminds me of what became of Tenjho Tenge's plot after a while, suddenly too much is happening and it's so far from the manga/manwha you initially fell in love with that you no longer really care enough to figure out what's happening exactly.
Still, for the strong beginning, the series deserves some credit. With the ending, a reboot of sort sounds like a good idea actually; here's hoping the author can make something more out of the sequel.

Really nice, the art is beautiful and the plot is interesting but the end kind of depressing with the "this will be a new story".. >_>
so I guess there will be a continue right?

I loved this series... even if the plot was a cliche, the main character and his development seemed to be the best this series had to offer, but in the last batch the manga lost its way... I won't spoil anything, but I do think if you like the start you should read it till the end...
Now lets see what happens in the sequel >_>
__________________________EDIT:
Ok the Sequel made me WTF more than a few times, and I really wanted to drop it, because I thought no explanation could make up for what was happening in the Sequel... but we finally got a flash back and a pretty good one at that, I am starting to piece the plot together again and it seems good.
Won't spoil much, but:

Jae and Serin DO make up her horrible mistake and we get a love love scene, what could have gotten wrong after that? i mean for Jae to seal Serin? A lot.. but we have to keep reading to find out...

The begining was very promising, well sure it was anything but original, but the way how it was presented was really good. In a way it even remainded me of Mx0, how a hero, who is an absolut zero, through a different way gains status in a magic world.
It was so at least till the middle part were the first "WTF?!" showed up. Some weird people (who are not even introduced), do some stuff that's not explained, and then everyone goes shocked about things that I didn't get. Of course I could search for extra literature to better understand who are half from heroes who show up at the end. Except a such a small thing as... I don't wanna read a manual for comic to even understand what's going on!
Srl people read this till half and then drop it, that way you won't spoil the fun.

The has been many manga and manhwa that has really cheesed me off because the main character is such a fool who does not deserve to live. The reason they do not deserve is because they lack common sense and they only survive because of Pure luck and the others around them or because the author wants them to survive. Black God is a good example of this.
The reason I give this manga a 10 is because personally I think it has a hint of originality and also the Main character deserves to live. He knows how to escape. He shows signs that he is naturally adapting to this new world and isn't suddenly awesome. When left on his own he can fend for himself. Also he is just generally likeable

so... this manwha(which i will henceforth refer to as manga because typing manwha pisses me off) is REALLY good... for the first couple volumes. then it just regresses into annoying cliche shounen. Even though i like cliche shounen, this is just fucking terrible. Currently there are like 5 fights going on simultaneously, and each one is progressing at a snails pace each chapter; not only that but the art is garbage, you have to try to decipher what is going on.
ugh... if it randomly ended after the first couple volumes, this would probably be one of my favorite series... but it turned into pure shit..
read the first couple volumes cuz they are good, but it just is bothersome from there on out

What can I say that hasn't been said already, this is by all means a masterpiece.
Each chapter is just awesome in every way, both story wise and the drawings.
A must read, this puts to shame all of the top rated shounen mangas.

To be honest I didn't have high hopes when I first started reading this, but it blew my expectations away. The plot is imaginative unlike most recycled crap being produced nowadays. The main character also has a strong personality which is a pleasant change from most 'weak' male lead characters.
Definitely worth a read!

Nice shounen fantasy-adventure manhwa/manga! The hero is not some lame looser guy & the fanservice doesn't make the story awkward.. like other mangas that ruins the story coz if too much fanservice..
