Description
When "Nice Guy" Asai Manatsu's marriage proposal gets rejected, he thinks his day can't get any worse, until a Knight in Skull helmet tries to kill him! He's saved by a beautiful, silver-haired swords-woman and told to flee, but his nice guy impulses are too strong and he saves her from an attack, getting himself killed in the process. As he dies he wishes to be reborn in a world where people won't judge him for taking care of others...

This is a Dark Souls-like isekai where you're revived over and over again. The plot does eventually make sense in the end. It's a bit on the light-hearted side in that the main themes are about friendship and adventure, instead of action and death.

The story has some interesting ideas but it is hampered by some terrible pacing. It really needed to be 8-12 volumes instead of the 4 we got to really tell the story it wanted to tell satisfactorily.
Overall 3/5 - It's enjoyable (and short) enough that I didn't regret reading it, but the pacing issues really prevent it from being anything more than OK.
