From MangaHelpers:
No one can make the perfect decision every time. Everyone has those moments that they wish they could redo and alter their decision. This story revolves around girls that got their second chance. [DrCoke]
2 Volume (Complete)

It was a really good story, and more complex than it seems in the beginning. I think it would have benefited by being longer though, because the second part felt rushed. Especially when you see that some characters didn't get any development.
But a magnificent one.
Though I do wish the two would have communicated in the end. Kyousuke's final decision may not have changed, but if he'd made it clear to Chihiro that he had no regrets, at least her fate might have changed. By the end of the story, she's possibly the only unhappy person left.
All that said, while there's no hint in the story for this, there is the possibility that they'll find a solution in a future loop, one where everyone is happy. Unlikely, though. More realistically, Chihiro might at least overcome her own regrets eventually. The loop should stop at that point.
Also, the loop-based memory erasure is not quite perfect, e.g. Kyousuke once thinks "Somehow, I have a bad feeling as to what's gonna happen next. As if this happened before". An accumulation of such things might eventually end the loop.
For the second volume the story would have been stronger had we learned of Chihiro's motivations and saw things from her perspective. Instead she takes a passive approach to things and ends up punished for it. Additionally we are forced to reread the situations from Kyou's point of view and nothing really changes. I get that the ending is supposed to be shocking and that in life you can't stop fate but the story is weak and rushed as a result. I suspect that the series was going to be cancelled resulting in the final arc feeling padded.
I prefer happy endings, but I didn't mind what this did. Really depressing. However, the manga was undone by its own brevity; not because the ending became "bad," but everything felt rushed. More development on everything would have led to a much better execution, even if the ending didn't need to be changed.
This manga started with a great setup and likable characters but i feel it was ruined in the 2nd volume because the author chose to try to make an emotional impact over good story telling. With just a little communication between the characters, the whold bad ending could of so easy of been averted. To make matters worse, they have all been throught the same situation over and over and the characters still can't get it through their thick skulls communication is the key. Its frustrating when a good ending is obtainable but through their repeated dumb actions, it doesn't happen. Also, if the childhood friend would of confessed right in the beginning, then that might of made things different on it's on. Yeah, it was a tragic ending, but instead of making me sad it just made me ask - why?
For some reason I misremembered and thought this was scanlated by a yuri/shoujo-ai group so I went into this thinking it was about a group of girls time-looping...You know how it is with the androgynous art/designs in Japan...turns out the main character is a guy. o.0
In retrospect, my misinterpretation of his sex made the second chapter's heroine's misunderstanding at the beginning of the chapter and actions during the outing even more hilarious. xD
I completely missed that the honourific implied he's a guy. I only began to suspect a little in the second chapter when he's like 'Doesn't it appear to be a date to other people...?' But just thought that was a little hint of shoujo-ai there but nope, it's quite clear, after TWO chapters, that he's a guy 😛
I just found my confusion so ridiculous I stopped reading during ch 2 and had to express it somewhere 😉
EDIT: Wow. End of ch 4, this series really kicked it up a notch o.0. Srsly, the whole premise of htis series has changed. I'm loving how the first 4 chapters were used to set this up.
EDIT 2: Damn, it only goes for two volumes. I guess that explains why it suddenly got so rushed in the last few chapters. I was hoping that was because there was going to be a series of loops. I wonder if it was axed, that would suck so bad. Had a lot of potential. 🙁
God, this is just.... what the hell with the chapter 4? I thought it was just a normal time loop story, but who ever thought there will be a plot twist. 😀
I don't want to spoil the story. Let just say.... a time loop, inside a time loop.
Can't wait for the next chapter 🙂
