Sugawara has terrifying dreams of bloody murder. What could these dreams be about?
Oneshot (Complete)

Not knowing LaLa's Horror section at all well, I cannot validly address the suitability of this oneshot for LaLa's target audience. That said, I think that the tasteful though slightly gory cover says enough, and the non-titular text on it spells out the type of story in store without giving anything away (but enough about covers and such lesser things). You might have to read the work several times through to understand it well due to the nature of the story: this is no failing of the mangaka, this oneshot is intended to mess with the reader's mind. The subject is rather macabre which is completely at odds with the peaceful and beautiful art. The images themselves are easy to follow while including detail; the text follows the same rule (at least in translation). There is nothing out of place with the pacing, and the mangaka has used her pellucid and generally stoic drawing style both in conjunction with and to facilitate a masterful use of juxtaposition. I'd recommend this oneshot to anyone who likes psychological horror and/or works that are psychologically "messy."
I was pretty turned off by the graphic violence of this one shot - not to be uptight or anything, but the reason I love Lala and it's colored offshoots is because they are usually very tasteful. This one seemed like it would be more at home in a mature magazine.
