I'm going to give the story a poor rating. I liked it up until a certain point, but the ending is tragic. An unnecessarily tragic ending in my opinion. I think the final chapter, as a whole, is set up in a way to be open to interpretation to maybe please "everyone." That's why I'm also knocking it down in rank because I tend to hate these endings as they come off as cheap or indecisive if the story doesn't have elements (mystery, psychological etc.) to it that would lend credence to having that ending from a storytelling perceptive. Doo-sik (male lead) has an inner monologue towards the end of chapter 45 which sort of hints towards a downward turn the story would take as he says if the story were to have a happy ending, then this would be where it would have ended. This story has 63 chapters, so we still have 18 more to get through. Spoilers from here on out on why I think this has a "bad ending" and pointing out elements to support this.

In the final chapter, we learn that 6 months have lapsed since Doo-sik got stabbed and it's now snowing. Jia (female lead) makes note of how pretty the snow is and several other character also acknowledge just how much snow is falling. I'm not a literary expert, but I have read and watch enough stories to know when snow and in particular "Winter" is used an a symbol or metaphor for the end of or passing of someone of something. I think the snowing is a symbol for Doo-sik's passing to confirm he didn't survive the knife wound, but is watching over Jia from above. Even the segment of Ji-yoon (Doo-sik's ex) slipping and falling on this same snow is telling of her ongoing bad karma for harming the relationship between Jia (female lead) and himself. We see papers talking about the sentencing of Jia's stalker (the man who stabbed Doo-sik), but we get no further details of the "assault" portion of his crime. I think this is important too because when we get a look inside Jia's apartment, it's back to being messy. Jia was a messy person before Doo-sik came into her life and started living with her to clean up the place. The messy state of her apartment is another hint that Doo-sik isn't around anymore. We see a wedding photo inside her apartment of Jia and another person. Doo-sik's head is plastered over the face of another man that is in the photo next to Jia because of the heavy white outline specifically around Doo-sik's head has in that picture. But also next to this picture, you see an open bottle of pills sprawled out and a green cross over the bag next to the pills to show that there were prescribed for a reason. When Jia is cooking in the kitchen, we see no wedding ring on either hand. You could excuse this as her taking it off to cook, but shortly afterwards she goes to the door in anticipation for Doo-sik to come home. She let's him in and she asks him about his day at work. The Doo-sik acts uncharacteristically of himself. He also isn't wearing a ring which is strange too. I see people bring up that him being stabbed could be the reason for why it's messy as he's recovering. But here we have him coming home from work. So he is able bodied to some capacity. I think this is intentional to show that something is off with what we're seeing. Doo-sik then carries her off to the room to have sex and in the background of her room while Doo-sik is undressing her we see a large dildo, another pill bottle and some tissue. Earlier in this story, we know that masturbating was a new thing for Jia. She didn't really get a sexual awakening until meeting Doo-sik, so her having a dildo prior to their encounter is unlikely while having on when Doo-sik is already in a her life would also seem redundant. I really think this is all in her head. Because he's gone, she takes pills to cope with it. She masturbates to with the dildo pretending it's Doo-sik's penis and she's pretending that she is married to him, living out a happy life as what some of the other characters have going for them. The last image of her room, zoomed out in a void, paints a picture of isolation. Like Jia's in her own world or it's like a set and she's acting out her fantasy now that it can't be a reality anymore.

Very unique, i havent finished it thought, i know the ending, and

refuse to believe that he died, i am going to assume that he still alive

Chapter 36 was nice
43,44,45 sex

Chapter 51 is fustrating read, i hate how there is artifical drama like in this chapter

i hate how the internet just beleive one person and as a result the whole movie industry goes underfire because of this one comment, jesus

Chapter 61 is good

Really good manwha, but i suggest skipping tchapter 51 till the end, those were pure dumpster fires

One of the better manhwas I've read lately, mostly thanks to the main character actually being a decent human being. Sure, he makes some questionable decisions at times, but unlike most other manhwa protagonists, he stays completely faithful to the girl he's with, actively pushing others away if they try to make a move on him.

All in all, this was a nice, wholesome romance story all the way until the end... or so I'd like to say. To be honest, I went back to analyze the final chapter, and there are some details there that indicate that things might not be quite what they seem. Let me explain.

1. Jia's apartment is a mess. Earlier on in the story, Doo-Sik (the protagonist) cleaned it up because he thought it was too messy at the time. This tells us that it's likely that the he isn't actually there with Jia anymore, since he'd want to keep the place tidy if he was.

Among the mess, there are several alcohol bottles and even a bunch of pills scattered around. Now, one could argue that those pills are painkillers for Doo-Sik after he got stabbed, but I don't think it adds up.
Ji-Min, Jia's blonde actor friend, who was 8 weeks pregnant before the time skip, is now 6 months pregnant, meaning 4 months have passed. Even if the protagonist was stabbed, he shouldn't need to be taking painkillers that long after the incident.
In other words, the pills must be there for a different reason.

In their wedding photo, Doo-Sik has a white outline around his head. That's not something he usually has, and Jia doesn't have one either in the very same picture. This suggests that the person she's posing with in the photo is actually someone else and that she just took Dook-Sik's head from a different photo and taped it to the wedding picture.

There's a large dildo standing beside Jia's TV. Now, couples can obviously play around with sex toys together, but it's kinda weird that it's just left out in the open like that. It also basically just looks like a copy of the protagonist's dick, so it seems like an odd choice for a toy to spice up their sex life.
Furthermore, Jia seems like the type of girl who wouldn't care about sex toys when she has access to "the real deal", so this all makes it seem like she chose it as a substitute because she can't sleep with the protagonist anymore.

All of these details combined seem to point towards one single conclusion: The protagonist actually ended up dying from the stabbing. Jia is now living alone, thinking that the protagonist is still there with her, either because of drug-induced hallucinations or because her mind broke after his death because she wasn't able to cope with what happened.

I'm sorry if I ruined the ending for you.
