Volume 1:
During his middle school years, Hamanaka Kento was a talented track-and-field athlete with the potential to compete at the national level, but a serious injury forced him to give up the sport.
Still carrying that sense of loss, he entered high school—only to be immediately scouted by the handicrafts club. He brushed them off with the half-hearted excuse, “A guy doing handicrafts? That’s kinda weird.” However, a chance encounter right then and there with a male student rumored to be the “Knitting Prince” would go on to completely change Kento’s high school life.

Volume 2:

Hamana Kento gradually becomes obsessed with knitting, as if to fill the void left by his departure from track and field.
Together with the knitting extremist Kuroba Rui, he joins the handicrafts club and takes on the challenge of creating a highly difficult piece of knitwear for the school cultural festival.
Then one day, Rui stumbles upon a knitting video online—and the person streaming it appears to be a teacher from their very own school…?

Volume 3:

As they spend more time together in the handicrafts club, Hamanaka Kento and Kuroba Rui come to see each other as true best friends.
One day, however, Rui notices Kento quietly watching the track team practice.
Rui begins to wonder if Kento actually wants to return to competitive running…
And then, to top it all off, the track team captain barges into the handicrafts club to recruit Kento!?

Volume 4:

Spring arrives, and Hamanaka Kento and Kuroba Rui advance to their second year of high school. They do their best to recruit new first-years into the handicrafts club, but the results are… less than stellar.
Amid the disappointment, Kento spots a first-year with an amigurumi keychain dangling from his bag. Gathering his courage, he calls out—only to discover that this freshman, Hasegawa Chiruku, is a full-on delinquent who looks completely out of place in their gentle school!
Chiruku grew up in a complicated family environment and has always felt alone.
Kento and Rui try to reach out to him, but Chiruku brushes them off at every turn.
Yet the one who finally manages to turn his heart around is… an unexpected person with unexpected words!?

Volume 5:

The handicrafts club’s very own “Knitting Prince,” Kuroba Rui, is determined to spread the love of knitting far and wide.
To that end, he takes on the near-impossible mission: "Make Friends!"
But no matter how hard he tries, his friend count refuses to budge, and he ends up completely lost…! Then Hamanaka Kento, his fellow club member, comes up with a brilliant idea—!

In the winter of their second year of high school, Hamanaka Kento is tormented by indecision over his future path.
