I love Miyamoto Kano

Dark romance....beautiful story. While I hope for a happy ending, I'm glad it doesn't happen so fast. Miyamato happens to be an talented author that always manages to surprise me. With this author I never know if the main characters will actually be together. While at times thinking it will not work out for couple I am saddened, Kano gives me hope that love will keep burning.

I think this manga is going to be one of my favorites, it has a meaning behind the short story. It's not just about smutty smex but rather a progress of a relationship that started with a one-sided love. Unlike other mangas, sometimes you can predict what's going to be the ending (a typical yaoi manga, you know what I mean) but this one, you're gonna be able to understand why the story ends like that. Like alaskankneehigh said, it will keep you guessing until the end if the characters will end up together or not.

The second story was right up my alley. The first one though, I have mixed feelings about. The lead uke seemed extremely callous and selfish and all of them behaved in a way that can't even be justified by the yaoi genre.

Loved the extra story!

I just read this manga, i find the main story good, nothing spectacular, but i absolutly loved the extra story at the end. It's not like other manga in which you see the character and even before it has said a word you can tell what type of stereotipical manga character it is. Also the story has a beggining, a development and an ending, it's not like they meet, like each other, have sex and live happily ever after like in a lot other yaoi manga. I find the ending to be really really good (just my personal opinion), i loved the way it had a meaning that relates to the beggining of the story and also found it really touching, kinda droped some tears at the end (LOL). All though it IS just the oneshot at the end of the manga, it's short, but very lovely and touching.

the rating i gave should be divided, i would put a 10 for the oneshot, but the main story didn't get much of me, i would give it something like a 7.5 or 8. Liked the main story in general, but the end kind of left me short.

The main story was good. Not Miyamoto Kano's best, but certainly not bad (keeping in mind that, in my opinion, Miyamoto Kano's works in general are far, far above the standard for yaoi). Some things bothered me a bit about the story and left me feeling a little bitter and dissatisfied (you'll know what I'm talking about once you read it), but I wasn't upset with how it all turned out.

I read the story a while ago and gave it a 9, and I was wondering why after I finished the main story because a 9 really seemed too high. But then I read "Heavenly" and decided to keep my rating. I'm going to have to agree with what's already been said about it; the narration is beautiful and the story is just incredibly sweet, if not groundbreaking (which is completely fine if it's done well). It left me with a huge smile on my face and a few tears in my eyes. So my rating for "Heavenly" is a 10 and for the main story... probably a 7.5 or an 8. A very nice read overall.

I definitely have to agree with Dagorkitty. The extra story "Heavenly" was great! As for the rest of this book, it was really good, too. What I actually like about MIYAMOTO Kano is, that the stories are generally quite unpredictable. This was a nice read.
