Description

Kai Shinjo, an ordinary high school student by day and a deadly assassin by night, hides behind his quiet, dark demeanor, making him an outcast among his classmates. I like how for a change those summoned don't jump the "let's be hero" wagon right away, but that's about the only good thing about this. Among other things the author is rather bad given justifications and weighting situations of the kids, so while they have their misgivings they still mostly go along with what they are told, as if they "didn't have a choice", well they do, asking for time to get stronger before going into enemy territory would be a smart choice for example and the selfish summoning kingdom wouldn't either want to kill them nor want to risk antagonizing them when they'll soon be stronger than most kingdom's armies.
For the chars, nothing special either, MC is the classic no emotions dude that's supposed to weight everything, but he's not amoral at least and will act "altruistically" if there's nothing to loose and can save others. The rest have little depth, the "Hero" is supposed to be a thinking guy but as said above ends going along with the flow.
It's probably very early in the story thou so there may be some development story and character wise later, but I wouldn't hold my breath for it.

Overall, this is one of those mangas that I read sometimes to kill time, it's "entertaining" as long as there are chapters left but 1 or 2 years later while waiting for new chapter's I'll have forgotten about it. So, unremarkable, mediocre, etc. use the adjective you like there.

All Edge, No Substance

Every chatacter is one dimensional.
The MC is what a 14 year old edgelord thinks is cool.
The plot is as bland and as generic as humanly possible.
Zero creativity with the powers. Author just copied Quirks from My Hero. The hotheaded delinquent has explosion powers and does the gauntlets thing exactly like Bakugo. FMC straight up has the Brainwashing quirk.
The MC is Deku in that he inherently has no powers but oh no, he's not a whiny crybaby like Deku. He's an assassin. He's edgy as balls. He brought a gun, a smoke bomb, and a knife to school. So edgy.

Spoilers for Chapter 14.

This chapter has got to be the worst chapter I have ever read in any manhwa... It's either the priestess/summoner girl is in cahoots with the Demon King or she's just a dumbass psychopath. She KNEW the scientist guy was a spy but didn't dk anything about it. WHY? To test the class? That's some S-Tier level negligence and INCOMPETENCE of the highest degree. The scientist guy attacked and set fire to one of their towns. That's not the worst of it, this bitch managed to gaslight the entire class that it was all for their training. Even the MC agreed to it. ARE THEY ALL DUMB??? If ANYONE has more than one braincell they would've figured out that this is extremely sus. Bootleg Bakugo is the only one I could root for. He wants to kill the Knight Guy. He better, that old man is a dickhead.
