It's very beautiful

It is a commentary on many things. It explores the grey area of the ethics regarding human and genome modification and the way how corporations will use them to wage war on each other. It is a commentary on what it means to be alive. It is a look at a future filled with even more violence and instability, but it also gives us a glimmer of hope. The fight scenes are stunningly beautiful and stunningly horrific at the same time.

Obviously, I have to warn future readers about the graphic subjects that it portrays. It very much goes into violence and war. It goes into some body horror stuff. It tackles the "What does it mean to be human?" question with with vigor.

But I hope you read this. What a fantastic and beautiful story.

Here's some more fun things that I really liked from this story

Beautiful animal and nature drawings. Both alive and skeletonized animals are depicted.
The hand-to-hand fight scenes are like a beautiful dance
The muscles and the anatomy on the HA's make sense- they don't just give the leopard girls cat ears and a tail, they give her a whole leopard body. I like that a lot.
The politics regarding the use of genome modification are very realistic

You just need to read it to see and understand to your own certain extents how human this series really is.

I'm overwhelmed and overblown with every chapter. The story is still in that grey area of a not so far away future where it's already apocalyptic from inside and within. Yet the possibilities of it actually heading that direction are still burgeoning: not entirely determined, nevertheless unsettling and fearsome with a tiny dash of hope. In a sense, despite being an interwoven story of ideas that we already know, the story-telling is a fine, creative, commentary and reflective work of science fiction that is tremendously enjoyable.

Fair shares of warning:

It's a lot;
I'm thankful for the scanlator group for introducing this manga and having done such fine work on it; and this is for mature audience. Still, some of the imageries and chapters are really disturbing and of pure shock values. There should be a warning at the beginning of those/each chapter(s), but there ain't. So: The storyline and some images can be disturbing and upsetting. READER DISCRETION ADVISED.
