I am reading this is english and right now, i just could read a few chapters (31). Until now, I am really enjoying this and I thought that this was also part of the YLAB super string, cuz I think that I saw a character from The Distant Sky . Interesting, but there also that information that they talk about and just take a lot to explain. The plot is kind of nice: a boy in a world that can't like without tecnology, and because of his skills, he is needed (even the army isn't so skilled like him to deal with the new environment). I recommend.
MC is a little too dumb, he went to school all his life, even if he didn't make friends with his desire for them he must have been watching others all the time, so it's ridiculous the level of detachment from human relations that he has, that would be more believable in someone who lived in the mountains his whole life with little to no human contact. Also, because of this awkwardness I can already see the plots, with no social skills he has no way to doubt others, to foresee betrayals or dangerous people, etc. I get equally annoyed at the stupidity of the other characters sometimes.
By the way, primitives draw manga? monkeys can use pulleys? and several utensils of the modern era? the second is explained but I find the explanation to be quite ridiculous
just how much time and effort would take for to teach and instruct them in the use of them?
Having said that, I kind of like the story, it's similar to Eden no Ori but has less of all the human trash crap, it's more innocent while still having quite a few scenes of gore and so on. There is also some human component to the conflict and to the story but it's about a conspiracy of sorts, not about how disgusting human nature is and how petty we are.
I also like all the survival parts thou to be honest it's pretty dumbed down and made look as kids play due to the MC peerless knowledge and unparalleled skills and learning.
All in all, it's an entertaining read but I don't find it particularly good.
