Haruki Ato is an investigator working at the Otowa Detective Agency. He was put in charge of his junior colleague, Shinano, who was found with amnesia, but one day Shinano suddenly disappeared. His last confirmed location was near the facility of the religious organization "Shikoten Research Institute," which Ato was scheduled to investigate next. Ato becomes embroiled in the incident and discovers the horrifying reality of the Shikoten Research Institute, but soon realizes that he was not dragged into it by chance.
