Minato is a high school student who has lived his life avoiding relationships with others, while Hōei is a convenience store clerk who has always gotten along easily with everyone and is well liked. The two meet in the parking lot behind the convenience store and are only close enough to exchange a few words during their break times. Minato feels uncomfortable with Hōei, who says he wants to get closer to him, but one day a major turning point arrives. Is this friendship… or something more? Thus begins a pure, awkward, and slightly distorted relationship.
