The whole thing is greatly confusing.
I feel like there's some really deep concepts that the author wants to convey, probably? maybe? Or maybe it's all just a pretentious excuse for some really beautiful art?
Either way, even though I feel like I got the point by the end, I mostly didn't understand what was happening while it was happening. For some reason, I did keep reading and wanted to know what was gonna happen next, so there's that.
The naked shots of the ladies, even though they were technically inanimate objects made humanoid, made me uncomfortable and I feel like they were unnecessary at times.
I don't mean when the prostitution themes were mentioned, but for example the running gag of the organ girl waking up naked, or the scene near the end when she talks to Orpheus OR JFC THE SCENE WHERE that other organ girl, Sylvia, takes her clothes off in front of her "daddy" what the....
I also feel like the main male character is a useless cartoon cutout, I still don't get what his deal was.
And what's with the organ hate anyway? Sure you can't play it with an orchestra unless you're probably in a church, but hey, it's been done? I don't get it.
Don't count on the romance either, it's pretty nonexistent and even then it's a stretch.
The art though, beautiful. 5 points for art + 1 because for some reason I kept reading.
