Character design is somewhat distinct and likeable. But what happens in the story is not progressing in a satisfying manner.
2nd volume is supposed to be out somewhere in a summer (2022). If it will be the more of the same, then it might as well be the last volume.

There was no hints in the 1-st volume on how the MC, by being a malnourished overworked slave on a life-threatening job for 5 years, became strong enough to win a fight with his tormentor - A-grade adventurer. I'm simply not buying this idea. Shouldn't every other slave in mines be a superhuman then? m-m-m?
