her drawing style has.. changed.. in a good way? not really. no. maybe it's because i'm not used to it tho..

Makes me thing about the concept of love

So the basic reason of her falling in love with him was over a single piece of chocolate? Sorry but that sounds retarded. That goes beyond the point of being superficial, and into the zone of delusion. The girl so desperately wanted love, that she would fall with love with the first person who ever brought it up, regardless of whatever he did. Let's sum what the guy did to "seduce" her. Jump from the staircase, say a very lame pickup lines about fate, and give her a piece of chocolate. Not exactly a catch, eh? Oh I forgot, he has a dreamy hairdo that somehow makes him hotter than all the other clones with lame hair.

You know those types girls who would latch on anything male that give them a bit of attention? This girl is even easier than them (The reason she doesn't fall in love with the childhood friend is that he did everything wrong: giving too much attention instead of negging her hard, not dating tons of girls, respecting her "wish" instead of following his desire, fight with her instead of wrestle on bed with her...)

Young girls, never become this types of girls. Or else you would be easy prey to even a PUA noob. (yes, that guy pulled off a textbook case of "building rapport") What she experienced was termed "tingle". Never lose your heads over those.

this manga annoyed me. it wasn't a bad manga don't get me wrong but the main character was just so hung up on this one guy who she met in one day. i don't understand how she can love the guy unless she's just going to think it's due to the fate stairs thing.

i thought her friend was evil but i wouldn't blame her since her boyfriend was being snatched away.

the ending was sweet though, a bit cliche when the girl fell and the guy was there to catch her but then again, what shoujo has no cliche? XD

i did enjoy this manga in a weird way even though i felt annoyed most of the time but i guess the manga is effective? hahaha. i recommend this if you have a bit of time to read. it's only 3 volumes 🙂

Well I really hate chi she so annoy it ruin the while story for me although I'm really glad she never gave up on her love but still cry cry cry to much for me it would have been better if she was stronger person an not a cry baby shesah still good art and the two boys are really nice the girls zero :0

I very much adore this manga; I believe Fukushima really outdid herself on this one. Chocolate has so much dept that it's much better than her other works. I do have to admit that her art in this series has changed but I think it's really good and she improved greatly. I like all her works and have been a huge fan from the very beginning (though AAA wasn't that good-it had a good conceipt but wasn't executed quite right) but Chocolate is amazing. I love the idea and plot and how time goes on (from elementary to "one year later"), I think that's cool; I wish there was more chapters with everyone younger but what can you do shrugs.

I really like how Chiyoko has her hair up unlike all the other main female characters Fukushima has done up till now; she really stands out from the other female characters. Though Chiyoko does tend to blush too much in my opinion I'm willing to put it aside because she is so darn cute xD

I wish the series was more than three volumes. I think this was one of her better series done and I'm hoping someone licenses Chocolate; I want this one on my selves xD
