Just some TRASHY SOL with villainess stuffed with cliche plot points and bland frustrating characters.

To be exact a bland unoriginal fairy tale

FL is stupid and useless all she do is be dependent on ML without him she nothing not even a character.

ML is stereotypical obedient SIMP who will do ANYTHING FL asked of him so not much to his character depth, like how he just released the prisoner who came from another country exiled she caused she asked I mean she doesn't even have a status she is just a commoner or how he visits her without a cause lols what a cliche SIMP.

Story is just bland like no revenge no twists and nothing to boot only cliche copy pasted lines with predictable ending and start where everything is forgiven and everyone is happy without any consequences.

very cool! sort-of-generic setup: white lotus transmigrator frames fl for sum BS bullying and she's exiled, but the story evolves into much more than that.

i love how this manga handles its characters; ml is not necessarily a good person and the narrative doesn't excuse it but reminds you of it time and time again. antagonist is not a good person, but she is still human BUT she has also done shitty ass stuff and we should remember these things in tandem while judging her. fl goes through a lot of development and the author gives her the perfect opportunities to reflect and verbalize her thoughts. Also she's very "idgaf" and it's refreshing to see

not to mention the really cool art OUGH AGHHHH... black and white does so much for the story. Like the artist is so good at using the colors' inherent symbols of good/evil to craft pictures. Also the contrast of the 2 colors helps create an unsettling vibe and serve the sort of psychological horror of the story.

the only bad things i would say is probably that the emperor doesn't really feel like a human, but maybe we're not far enough into the story to reveal his vulnerable parts idk. Also the romantic developments feel a little unnatural but there's a lot of timeskips so 😕

Alsothe setting reminds me of fullmetal alchemist even though they're not that alike... it's definitely the outfits. Also the fuber emperor guy makes me think of ling yao 🤣

U should read! I'm not like the other otome isekais... I have genre deconstruction and moral discussions...

Fantasy/Romance/Isekai/Reincarnator/Regressor stories are a dime a dozen, but they're usually told straight. This is an interesting examination of fairy tales, and the tropes used in the stories we read, through a different kind of lens. I've certainly read things that are reminiscent of this story (as of chapter 19) but not anything quite like it. The art is really enjoyable, lots of fun perspective frames and mutations of the usual shoujo jokes to a more horrific or weird end. I see the FL going through an evolution in character and perspective from something "typical" as the previous reviewer says to something more seasoned, and it's engaging. This could end up being 10/10 for me, if it ends strongly.

Why does all FL have this long a*s internal monologue with nonsense filled with it well if you want that this manga have ton of it and it's very patheticly written too with a heroine who is nothing I mean not even a piece of trash with ML supporting her.
