Comedy is as subjective a genre as you'll experience. The reviewer below me summed it up best. If you enjoy misunderstanding stories about op characters that don't know their own power you'll enjoy this. If you don't then you probably won't.
The translator puts this the best way: if you dislike misunderstanding comedies, you will not enjoy this series. The entire premise is that the main character doesn't understand the world around her, and everyone else in the world doesn't understand Tilea. Tilea is dumb, but what really sets this story apart from most others is how consistent the characterization is. It can be hilarious (imo) seeing how many full conversations can happen between Timu and Tilea about Tilea's past or her ridiculous power, with everything being misinterpreted. It is quite difficult to have such dialogue while also staying believable, which this series somehow accomplishes.
If you enjoy this type of comedy, this is one of the best in the field. None of the characters feel overbearing and the tone never gets too campy or too dark. The series really reaches new heights when a straightman finally arrives in the story, but even before that Tilea's justifications get ridiculous. Look past the rating and give this 'simple cook' a shot.

That's what this is novel is about. I'm talking, like, the MC could have somebody try to stab them to death, the knife breaking because the MC's that over-powered, and the MC would end up misunderstanding that it was a fake knife and rationalizing that it was all a chuuni's joke or something. That's not a spoiler, but it isn't an exaggeration. I would say the biggest asset of this novel is the comedy, and if you don't mind a clueless MC, then I'd definitely recommend this.
As a side-note: this has a gender bender tag, but that's not a huge element of the story IMO, it's not like the guy's trying to do pervy stuff or anything. In fact, despite the image, this novel has very little perv humor or 'fan service'.

I don`t particulary like the chuunibyou theme but it is interesting plot device. However in this novel so far nothing worthwhile happens. Misunderstandings? Yea, there are a lot of them but they don't lead to anything so far. I cannot see where this is going. Probably there will be at least 50 chapters until Tilea got it in her head that there`s something strange going on ><

yeah, this light novel is gender bender, dunno if it is shoujo or not
well the MC is man the died and reincarnation as a girl
until ch about 10-12 there is no love interest for the MC (if yes, maybe i'll drop it, reverse harem is not my thing)
except the imouto who is went to dere in last chap i read, after she knew (or she thought) her sister (the MC) is "another" demon lord reincarnation
and then the hilarities came
well, the MC realize she is reincarnated and gone to world where magic is exist
also her (or his) sister have good amount of mana
but his chuuni life before take over him before logic from this world
he don't believe his sister is (really) reincarnation of demon lord general
btw the pace is little slow, and the main story is still not cleared because the existance of THIS demon lord is not reveal yet (well i hope it is the MC)
