The protagonist’s words hold a special power.

The moment he commands a blooming flower to wither, it rots away, reeking of decay. At his word, a dragonfly freezes mid-flight, and even a vicious dog barking at people instantly obeys him. The catch is that once spoken, his words can never be taken back.

One day, while the protagonist is playing with his console in his room, his strict father storms in, scolding him and trying to snatch the console away. In anger, the protagonist blurts out:

“The hands holding this console - let them all fall off.”
