Golden Comic Award-winning author Lucas has transformed three songs from the band Bestards into three distinct short comic works.
The stories feature three couples of varying sexual orientations and ages: Mickey, a dancer who wants to become a drag queen but faces opposition from his boyfriend; Piggy, a barber who feels the haunting gaze of her ex-girlfriend after their breakup, a graphic designer who experiences setbacks in both career and love - when it rains, it pours.
Incorporating Bestards' three classic songs "Farewell, the Endless Rumination," and "When the Rain Ends," while weaving in the band's romantic yet melancholic melodies, comic artist Lucas Paixão unveils the unspoken regrets hidden within these love relationships.
