The fact that this manga is getting an anime adaptation is really weird considering on how the plot went on like a fuckin trainwreck

The below comment is dead on, this is a very painful read in many ways cause of it. It's one of those poorly written series where if people had just talked then none of the series would have happened.

Although I don't agree this should end on a three way romance. I'm defo in camp none of these characters should be dating and now with the newest chapter we seem to be trucking towards NTR.

4/10 Needs better writing.

So for all the fact that 2/3 characters (1 of the twins and the male MC) are smart... they're all idiots. This is about a trio of childhood friends, and unfortunately, the author is desperate to make this super overly melodramatic. As a child, the male liked the bookish twin, and personality wise got along with her better, and tried to compete with her in...everything. When that fails, the more outgoing twin asks him out and in a fit of depression accepts. Over the next year he truly falls in love with her, but then she unceremoniously breaks up with him... and tells him to date the bookish twin.

So yeah, it's a mess. We have the bookish twin, who's loved him but is a coward and stupid about it and can never admit it. Then we have the outgoing twin, who broke up with him because she's stupid and cowardly and i guess wants him to get together with the bookish twin for some reason (it's NOT some reason like 'so we can all be happy'.) Then we have the male, who got all worked up by himself in a one-sided rivalry with his crush, accepts dating his crush's sister in a fit of depression, comes to love her, and then gets jerked around by them both. I can't really call him a beta male (he's not that bad) but he really is being treated poorly by these two idiot sisters.

I could see this having a good payoff in the end (need more twin-romance stories, especially with ACTUAL three-way-relationships, rather than just a false harem), but frankly the way the story starts off with just such stupid people makes it hard to read. I'll probably come back when it's finished and just read it all, but for now, nope.

Also, it says 'first love comedy' in the summary, but there's yet to be anything comedic at all, except for the characterizations of the parents (and some amusing star wars/star trek rivalry). It's been pure melodrama so far (ch4)
