As the title says, the story is solid. The characters are interesting for the most part, weeks, months and years pass instead of days for things to happen, and the romance works. The world building is decent as well.
The art is good, too, and feels unique.
Yes, I find it a little difficult to believe one person can know so much on such a wide range of subjects, and some of the inventions seem like they should have already existed, but it's not so far exaggerated because things like production methods and production takes time, so aside from the amount of conceptual knowledge, the practical knowledge is somewhat grounded.
Also, the MC isn't the smartest person in all things so despite what he does have that makes him unique, he's not a Mary-Sue type of character.
It's not a 10, but it's far too competent to call it a mere 7. It's like coming across a Sid Meyers Civilization game, but from a personal perspective instead of a grid-based experience.
A big recommend from me for older teens.
As the title says its a good isekai. Its not gonna pull many trees but it is fairly entertaining leaving you wanting to know what happens next. The political intrigue is there but it is not so convoluted and complicated so most people will be able to follow it without thinking to hard. Compared to the LN its adapted from the MC here feels more human like and has much more personality.
I would say it's a nice change from the usual hero/adventure style Isekai manga where the focus is on battle/adventure/saving the world or 'not so serious story' like reincarnate as an Onsen or a Spider. This manga
here focus more on politics, village building, like 90% politics 10% fighting. The protagonist have the usual 'convenient' power up but it doesn't feel OP...because it's politics...and they are not AI.
Since the story is focus a LOT on politics, it have a solid world structure and political structure, to the point I don't understand some part of it. You have war here and there, war in distant land, backstage political maneuvering, genetics heredity, etc. Also the politics become much more complicated later on, as I currently read(chapter 20) the politics is pretty simple, but my gooooddd... in the late game... the raw light novel already finished at chapter 305 and 115 for the translated one... even at chapter 90 the politics is already soooo confusing that head wants to explode.
