As the title says, the story is solid. The characters are interesting for the most part, weeks, months and years pass instead of days for things to happen, and the romance works. The world building is decent as well.
The art is good, too, and feels unique.
Yes, I find it a little difficult to believe one person can know so much on such a wide range of subjects, and some of the inventions seem like they should have already existed, but it's not so far exaggerated because things like production methods and production takes time, so aside from the amount of conceptual knowledge, the practical knowledge is somewhat grounded.
Also, the MC isn't the smartest person in all things so despite what he does have that makes him unique, he's not a Mary-Sue type of character.
It's not a 10, but it's far too competent to call it a mere 7. It's like coming across a Sid Meyers Civilization game, but from a personal perspective instead of a grid-based experience.
A big recommend from me for older teens.
