Look like revindicating Lu Bu's story has been in vogue lately but this one is cut above the rest, maybe along with "Three Kingdoms: Lu Bu’s Legacy", thou I've been enjoying this one more and that one hasn't been updated for a long time unfortunately.
The story is great, the system is not my favorite tool as usual, but that aside the all other aspects are coherent and consistent, the author, both of the novel and manhua go to good lengths to have things make sense and not have BS pulled out of their arses as in pretty much every other manhua (and manga/hwa), that in itself is an anomaly, add to it that the story is interesting, the storytelling skills of both author and artist is excellent, and simulations aside, the portrayal of the ancient China feels if not real, quite convincing.
As for the characters, it shines there too, the MC's interesting and the story is in part of his growth from the Lu Bu we know (strong but not bright, deceitful and a man that only knew war and nothing outside of it) to something much more. Work in progress.
Lastly, the art is amazing. Really the author here deserves recognition, not only are his skills top notch, but he took hands into the story where inconsistencies or developments weren't completely to his standards and so far he's doing an amazing job. Oh and there are often notes from him to clarify or call some things to attention or put them in context.
This one is a new addition to my top 10 manhua.
Edit: Amazing, it has resumed, thx Coolworld for the heads up. And thx the artist to resuming this!
