An ensemble manga, based on the concept of "embracing a wavering identity", which depicts the struggles and hopes of half-Japanese people from various backgrounds. The characters depicted are not talented people or athletes who have brilliant abilities in a particular field. This is the daily life of "ordinary" people everywhere, exploring the issues of "microaggressions" and racial discrimination that "Hafu" are subjected to on a daily basis.
Chapter 1 Synopsis: A story about two siblings born to a Japanese mother and an (Afro-)French father. The younger brother, Yuta, decides to change his name because he wants to be normal, so he goes to family court and takes his middle name. His older sister, Kazumi Mandanda, is confused by her younger brother's decision, but she also struggles with the fact that she continues to be labeled as a "foreign object" by those around her.
