I think that sums up Takahashi's situation well enough.

Bargain Basement Shoujo Protagonist #333333 Otogane isn't pretty enough and Takahashi throwing away his masculinity for her is the apex of concerning behavior. Plus, given her aversion to men in general, and Takahashi in particular, it would seem, I think the smart move would be for Takahashi to move on. Yeah, I remember being a teenager and all the hormones coursing through me would've made that a tough sell...but the girls I was interested in were nothing like Otogane.


I strongly dislike the manga, so I find it hard to recommend...except for the fact that I love pretty much everything else the scan group has done. So if they're working on this, it must have some redeeming value, and I've just missed it thus far.

EDIT: Finished it, still crap.

Every situation is just completely out of hand and the extreme degrees this training takes our protagonist

and I suppose his friends as well who got roped in for their own circumstances and reasons to be trained...
is a bit silly. All of this was so he could confess his feelings to a girl. Extremely over the top and I'm not that mad about it, all things considered.
