I have a soft spot for BL where it's just two guys living life, no drama or terrible secret, and they happen to like each other. I personally hate minamiya's haircut but that's not important. Yes it does feel a little weird that the love interest is in college and the MC in high school but I guess it feels more realistic since the love interest commits to sex when the MC moves on from the high school life stage. The whole story is just the MC with a goofy power who meets the exception to that power, like a sillier version of a stupidly hot person falling in love with the one person that doesn't care for their beauty. Great fluff and environmental art!
