After several years, I had a chance reunion with a childhood friend. The smile she once wore has faded and now replaced by a shroud of gossip. What the heck happened to her?
Oneshot (Complete)

Its an one-shot.
It started off well, with mystery and suspense. The main and drama point got built nicely, and the two main leads have good chemistry.
However, the moment 24 pages are done, the manga ends.
Some manga (like Mysterious Girlfriend X) should have stayed one-shots and were really not suited to be serialized. This one on the other hand had a potential to be a good mystery, tragedy and romance manga, and the premise is certainly deeper than your average one-shot. it seems to have been a setup for a more substantial story than an one-shot and i can see the author put thought into it. but i guess it never made it past the one-shot phase.
That's also OK but i have a problem that the one shot just...ends. sort of in middle of or right after the big revelation and "why" is revealed. and that, well, i think it could have been done better, IF there were more pages available to the author.
So anyways, the art is mediocre and definitely is a means to the end more than the main selling point. This manga would rely on the story as it's main selling point.
i liked that the main guy is also a raiyuu, which is a pleasant change from your average otaku guy MC.
At one point i thought there was NTR development, but in hindsight, i don't think that was the case, so don't worry.
in any case, the story had potential but sadly just finished before the main dramatic conflict could happen, or resolution or a roadmap could be found or greed upon and that is a waste.
Still, if you're browsing and stumble across it, why not, pick it up. Its still not what I would describe as waste of your time.
It seemed like an interesting story that starts out with a tragedy, missing people, and then an increasing amount of suspense. But then the addition of the
life-sucking flowers was kind of jarring when the entire story is set in the modern day. I also felt like the ending let me down a little :/
