From Fantasy Shrine:
“Your flowers are lifeless!” accuses the world-famous flower artist, Hikawa Naoki. Facing such merciless criticism, Kaede, heir of the prestige Akizuki flower arrangement school, has never been more humiliated in his life. Thinking his younger twin, Momiji, is more blessed with love and talents, Kaede reluctantly agrees to go to Hikawa for inspiration. However, under the elegant, masterful instruction of Hikawa, is a lesson of love disguised in seduction! And Kaede’s body and heart are awakened by love and desire…!?
1 Volume (Complete)

Here’s my criticism. I hate that Hikawa is initially cold at Kaede, but then is kind, teasing and warming up to him but becomes cold at him again. I can’t stand against a monster like him. However, the rest of chapters are lovely and the extras about the cats are cute.
Urgh, Furikawa Ruri sensei ALWAYS draw the best princely ikemen EVER!!! The concept is good, a little cliche, but the art is gorgeous! It might not be the yaoi manga you read that would make you impressed for life but definitely a manga that would not make you feel like you have wasted some time of your life to reading some bad shits.
I think this is OK. I did expect it to be worse but it turned out not that bad and I quite like it.
Maybe that's because I'm an easy reader, I don't mind blushing cry baby uke nor pissed off with myself much if the story was shallow or sugary...
Kaede seems weak in emotion for a guy but I don't find him girly at all. He is quite of the introvert, naive type and I like him for the fact he always try his best to endure his pain. I think it's really sweet and adorable of him. Made me want to cuddle him and give him some cookies. Poor child.
Hikawa:... ok he's bad. No excuse at all. I despise guys with (lots of) roses on their clothes =.=
Plot: unrealistic, chessy... but bearable (?)
Overall, this manga has some obvious flaws and although I can over look it, I understand that others might not so it's better not to recommend this easily~
On the side note: Eddie the kitten is so cute 😀

At first it was as BAD as the other titles ive read of this mangaka...
But i really dont like when ppl complain about mangas they only read one chapter and drop it and are titles i do know are good.
After the first chapter is not that it gets goooddd, but it was ok, less bad hahaha so i could finish it, id did cross through my mind it was lame, but at least not as cheesy as other stories of this author... So in other words, you can live happy without reading this, but is not the worst.
An okay yaoi story, though with a vague plot. Kaede is quite the girly boy, I must say, but I wasn't bored while reading this. Well, it's as silly as many other yaoi stories, but if you're looking for a quick yaoi with eyecandy - this is for you!

Not credible at all. I don't mind unrealistic plots as long as the character's feelings and the development feel credible. But it's not the case here. I mean how can you say "fall incorrigibly in love with me" to someone who already has?
All the seme had to do throurough the story is to say he's in love with the uke, and that's all it takes for the uke to fall for him, gah ! Plus, the tension Fujikawa-sensei tries to pull never works out. We don't know enough about the unrequited love of Kaede to care, and so the denouement isn't filled with emotional tension. And from then on, we only see demonstration of love after demonstration of love. The supposed "rival" episode isn't credible as well. Some times it looks like she just want to tease them while supporting them, some times it looks like she wants to break them up, then she looks like she wants to help them. For God's sake, please choose one attitude and sitck to it! It really feels like they take us for idiots who would fall for any trick. i'm quite fed up with this kind of story.
I'm beginning to believe that sensei really can't do interesting stories. Everything I've read up till now is too much sugary, fluffy, easy-going, fast-paced and predictable for my taste.

scratches her head hmmm, what is wrong with me? I love romantic and sensitive type of guy, especially when they are all lovey dovy with each other in a very soothing and artistic atmosphere. Then why this story cant get through into my heart even for a little bit 😕
Wait, the reason might be one of these: although Kaede is a boy who is falling in love with another guy, but he doesn't look like a man AT ALL . he cries, blushes, whines and panics like a nervous, spoiled teenager girl. yes, he is a sensitive type of guy who works with flowers but can't he be a little more manly for god sake? when I was watching him during the story, it was really hard to bear with his girly attitude. it was so irritating that I was imagining I am reading a Shoujo rather than a Yaoi.
the other reason can be the sex. although Kaede and his lover are handsome enough to catch your eyes but their love making scenes is so boring and cold. I couldn't feel any sense of love and excitement between them when they were caressing each other. it was like watching two life less dolls taking sex position without having any sense of soul or passion... not to mention that Hikawa san, Kaede's lover, is a real jerk who is manipulating the boy to fall in love with him. his relationship and hidden emotions for Kaede didn't developed correctly during the story and at the end he looked more like a sly guy with a horrible personality who takes advantage of a naive boy... arghhh...
I have read other works of this writer and I liked those better. this one was a real failure but I guess it is not a big deal after all since I have seen worse! 😛

Truly this mangaka is a genius who can probably read my mind and see how i yearn to see ukes and semen like these. The story is just truly lovely as must of sensei's work, it makes you wish you were there watching live in front-row seats.
