The leading lady portrayed in the first oneshot is exactly the kind of barracuda portrayed by Lucy Liu in Charlie's Angels (the office scene!). The story comes along in an interesting and engaging manner, though it would be more appealing if the characters were made less over the top and more realistic storytelling was introduced into the plot. But overall, you'll enjoy the first story (not for the smut, there's plenty,) for the kooky characters as well as the audacious dialogues.
Second story has its funny bits too, not least in the male lead who's very upfront about his ambitions and out to prove a point to the whole world... about lovemaking! That it's setup in the premise of art students who specialise in nudes makes it all the more hilarious... and hot. But this is josei, so its portrayed in possibly a less "pure" or "romantic" light than most stories. How he treats the leading lady's ex is also ridiculously enjoyable!
Third story has a very funny analogy running between the lady leading and a jaguar, and every other panel has her actions being copied by a jaguar tackling a prey. It makes for some rip roaring laughs! .
The fourth story is hilarious in that the dynamic between the two leads is so obnoxious and the hero is so overtly asinine that you forget to hate him and are just amused at how he manipulates the situation instead! I guffawed at the scenes where he gets frustrated with the bawling and tantrums of the heroine. While the smut was uninspired, and his comments unwarranted, it was still a pretty funny story.
The last story has a plot that was just plain bonkers right off the get go. The resolution is cute and will make you go "teehee" but the execution of the first part of the story makes it a must read for outrageous shoujo fans.
Overall, the art is honestly quite lacking in this and a bit rugged, clumsy and unappealing in expressions and facials, the bishounen are often prettier than the ladies, but the humor makes up for the lack of aesthetics.
