If FlowerChild's earlier work, Warikitta Kankei desukara is anything to go by, I should steer clear of stories that has red flags in the leads in shoujo ai/yuri stories. Doubly so if they make al the men plot fodder. I am not about that life of being kept up at night thinking about how messed up a fictional relationship or story resolution is. LOL
Jkjk
However i have been noticing that in most mangas with an emphasis on girls love, the reason the girls are in love with each other is usually the result of the men they are around. Which i understand, but this plot device is used in nearly all the girl love stories. Everytime a man comes on the screen/page, they are one of the most egotistical, arrogant pieces of shit you have seen.
Another thing i notice is the women, despite them being lesbiens, they tend to get "rapey" with each other, like not in a sense where the other person hates it. But in the sense where the femc just gets down and dirty with another girl, despite the other girl intially having no intentions to do the down and dirty. You could argue that because the girl was at the bar that is known for lesbien that she was wanting to get some action. However you could also argue against that, as not everyone that goes to bars are going with the intent to have sex, but instead have fun
Regardless, based on reading the available english translations. I see that the femc is basically the female version of the mc of those cheesy hentai games. Like the only difference is that she is a woman. Like there is even a moment in the manga where she is on top of the unconcious girl masturbating. Like thats is something i honestly would ffind in a hentai to be honest.
Regardless this isnt really my cup of tea, but ill keep up with it for now
